My family & I ordered sat down for Mother’s Day. We ordered our food and were well looked after. Excited to leave a tip, we get our check. The bill was for $120. I gave them my card, planning on giving a 20% tip. Another server came back with my card, and explained that they had miscalculated my total, and the new bill was $142. I have never felt so deliberately scammed by a restaurant for something I was willing to freely give. My family and I left taking advantage of.

We ordered take out so we could enjoy the sunset at Coulon park in Renton.
The restaurant was nice and the food was quickly made. Unfortunately, my cashew chicken was flavorless . Also, we did not get any utensils or napkins in the takeout bag.
Very disappointed…. Will not return.
Honestly extremely impressed with this place. The price is reasonable, food is great and the portion size was not weak! I’ll definitely be going here more often.
5 stars for Food, Service and Atmosphere, especially the food, it was really good even when I ate the leftovers the next day. 4 Stars because I was charged 68$ for a dinner for 2 when we both only just got 2 entrees and 2 drinks. My advice: Skip the sodas; they cost 4.50 each. I particularly recommend the Yellow Curry, that's my favorite dish when I come here, it's great every time.
Good Thai food with nice ambiance. The chicken satay is good, the cocktails are nice and fancy. I liked the soup, it’s very flavorful.
Waiting in area for over 5 minutes without being greeted … guess after remodel they don’t have to be kind.
Service was amazing and food was good to.
The interior design was good. Food taste regular, I ordered fried rice with chicken in it the rice was so sticky and very oily, it's almost tasteless, the waitress didn't ask the spice level (with my pregnancy brain, I also forgot to ask for it to be spicy). My partner ordered garlic stir fry, it was tofu with sauce and garlic in it (the taste was regular and not spicy although he was asking for medium spicy, the mushrooms wasnt cooked properly, broccoli and carrot also the same, and its surprisingly very small portion for 16$ meal, its like an appetizer size). Service was really bad (food was served without water, I am pregnant shouldn't be ordering alcohol or sweet drinks), I had to request for water. I will never come back.
I have had mixed experiences at Thai Nibbana over the past 8 years.
A few things:
1. It's always great to feel appreciated in a restaurant by attentive, caring staff. Sometimes the service at Thai Nibbana is apathetic and unauthentic. Sometimes it's friendlier.
2. Sometimes the food is outstanding and prepared with great care, sometimes not as much. For example, the fresh spring rolls are great (and with great presentation) on the days when they use more of the expensive green lettuce and not so good when they use mostly the cheaper diced (head lettuce). Likewise, the other dishes can be great, while other times not as much. It just depends on the day, I guess.
Because it's not dependable, I never know what I'll get. Thus, despite its close proximity to me, I will no longer stay committed to Thai Nibbana as a patron.
Oh, and, don't ever accidentally open the door and go in 4 min before they open because you might get a really friendly greeting by a gracious staff member [who accommodates you on the back bench on a cold winter day] only to witness the gracious staff member get scolded for it by another staff member who then later serves you. That should never ever happen in front of guests. It was just weird and waaay too awkward. The gracious staff are the ones who bring customers back! Ugh.

Is good food is working ford 6 years
I ordered sweet and sour tofu, with a spice level of five. There was no sweet and sour sauce, and the plate was served lukewarm at best. The person I was in had looked up on the drink menu and asked for a limeade, he was served a shot glass with a slice of lime and a slice of lemon. The service was exceedingly poor and the food was not up to what it needs to be do not recommend
This doesn't look like a 4-star place. Food was pretty tasty and portions were more than enough. They bring certain dishes with unique presentations. They also delivered my food so fast that I thought for a second that I was in a fast food restaurant. Service was outstanding. Honestly, zero complaints.
Great little dinner spot.
The new updates are lovely! We always enjoy the food and the new menus are great. The new ambiance makes it a place you truly want to stay and enjoy.
