I was excited to see so many vegan options on the menu, but after hashing it out with my partner, we settled on our usual saag aloo + eggplant bharta, lol. We asked for “spicy” + it was underwhelming at first, but after a few minutes, we had to take breaks to pound water. Idc if you think I’m weird, I love it. The chili pakora app was ok, but I expected whole ass chilis + they were sliced in half. I’d like to go back for a second round, but my partner was put off by some kinda lingering flavor I didn’t experience, so I guess that’s that.
I had the buffet here years ago and have shopped their store side of tbe business many times.
Was in the mood for some chaat so came in for lunch.
I love papdi chaat and when seeing on the menu, I like to see their version. The serving size was nice and there was a variety of crunchy elements, potato and yogurt. I always love to have more tamarind chutney in the dish, which this had less than I hoped, but more than some other places. That is just me. Would have also liked to see more potato and red onion, but again, this is my quest for perfection.
My other favorite is panni puri (or golgappa at some places). First test, is the water. They have a nicely seasoned water to spoon in the puri The mix of things to put in the puri - was nice but would have liked to maybe see more potato and lentils and red onion as it was very garbonzo forward. But it was still good. The letdown - the puri. They were very stale and tough to make a hole to place the fillings. I broke 3 trying to do so. They tasted stale and a couple were extremely crunchy, which is not trait of puris. As that is a big part of the dish, this made the dish a big disappointment.
It wasnt very busy and it took about 15 minutes after being seated before my order was taken. Food did come out timely.
I will try to return to take a second try at the puri and try some other items.
As a note - they have some very good sweets on the grocery side and several other items and spices that I've picked up before.

Super annoying and expensive place
Fresh and delicious! Easy to order vegan. You can also specify mild, medium, or spicy. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-25
Super rude, need to learn how to talk to customers
Always excellent food. They are thoughtful and food reminds of home. You can't go wrong with anything here. Just come with a big appetite
Quantity is not enough even for a kid. Horrible and stingy people

I’ve been a customer for over 20 years. Pablas is a favorite. The flavors set the bar in our household. Birthday dinners? We tend to choose Pablas.
Since we moved further away 10 years ago it got more difficult but, it’s still a top 3 choice everytime the kids want “the special” dinner.
And almost always a special sweet treat is in store for us.
The Navratan Korma is my fave but there are many more that make it worth the trip. Don’t miss the frozen entrees (made fresh) to take home for the mid week fix.
Thanks Pablas!
This place is soooo good, was recommended to me by some Indian friends & now I know why, best Indian food I’ve had in a while.
Love coming here. Friendly service and a wonderful menu.
Also have a mini store attached so you can get some of the fave menu items to go.
Their food is so good and so fresh. The service is also good. They also have a retail store and authentic Indian bakery. After returning home from Kolkata, I told a friend how much I loved the bakeries there and wished we had something like that here. He let me know about Pabla. It did not disappoint!!
We love Pablas!!!! We have been coming to Pablas for 23 years!! Their food is Authentic Indian Cuisine, perfectly made, presented and always delicious!
