Everytime we come here, it's a good experience. The bartenders they hire are as real as they come and make me feel right at home. The pies are always delicious, drinks are refreshing (or can be made to send you to the pocket dimension if that's your desire). The kind of place where I don't care what the cost becomes, cuz I'll just keep buying pies that bring a warmth and happiness to the Long Dark of the PNW. Cheers

I pass this place on my way to work and was curious about it. Stopped in the other day and got a steak and mushroom pie. Oh was I happy I did! It was amazing!! It has a beautiful flaky crust. The filling was rich and delicious. I was very impressed and happy with my choice. I went about a week later to get another. So tasty!! I will be a regular customer from niw on!

When visiting Renton, there are some signature restaurants to be sure. One of these to be on your list, is or should be, Premier Meat Pies (or PMP)

If the name sounds familiar, they have locations at the very touristy destinations of the Seattle Center Armory (i.e. Center House for us old school folks) on the historic Seattle Waterfront.

Owned by Nathan and Karen Bainbridge, PMP inhabitants the strategic and beloved location in Renton's Downtown area on 3rd Avenue and Main. This is the spiritual homebase of the PMP brand, and Renton residents, and diners, are glad its here.

Their unique pies are formed by hand from machines that are, literally, over 100 years old. But PMP puts their own modern twist to the classics.

They have both savory and sweet pies.
I particularly enjoyed their Guiness Sheppard's Pie with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and lager based gravy. A tasty side salad is recommended to keep you honest as you cleanse your palate for other offerings.

Adult beverages for your order? Along with being available in their main dining area, PMP has a special bar area with screens available for local sports broadcasts! Need a cocktail?? Specialty spirits along with a few choice microbrews on tap.

How about a dessert pie? Well you must enjoy my personal favorite of their berry cobbler with a scoop of ice cream.

In all, for its very efficient space, this place is a destination, a local hangout, date night location, and fancy sports bar.

Come on down for pie, and a premier experience!

I remember being excited when I saw this place being built a couple or few years back. I was expecting it would contain warm atmosphere in which one could get some great English food and a Guinness. Instead, it turned out to be an extremely sterile atmosphere, complimented by expensive teensie-tiny meat pies. This was a huge missed opportunity. The people complimenting the atmosphere in other reviews have no idea what they are talking about. The furnishings are cheap Amazon-core, the lighting temperature is way too cold (and bright), the floors are industrial, and the windows are... too big or something? I don't know, I felt like I was on display at a zoo when I ate here. And when I walk by and look in, I feel like I am looking at animals. Animals that don't know there are much better options all around downtown Renton. Go just around the block to the Berliner for a lesson on what the atmosphere for this sort of establishment should be. I have not been back since my initial visit, but I walk by on occasion, peering in, hoping things have changed. They have not. This is your spot if you want overpriced slop in a clinical setting.

This spot is literally the best food in Old Renton. Parking is tough. Drinks are adventurous and different. A little expensive but good HH deals. The pies are heavenly. And everything else is perfect. The salads, the bread, crab dip, mashed potatoes. No joke. Get there. 😁

Today, I ordered a bunch of pies. One in particular I ordered was the vegetable pasties. All items arrived except I bit into the vegetable pasties and it was clearly BEEF. I’m allergic to meat and specifically ordered the vegetable pasties for that very reason. Thankfully I did not have a severe allergic reaction because I only bit into the outside before noticing. The to go container said it was Vegetable on the outside, I double checked my receipt and I did in fact order the vegetable pasties. Horrible. The fact that this restaurant can serve meat knowing there are allergens around food makes me severely concerned on the food quality and operations of this place.
