The food tasted decent to “alright,” but truly the fried chicken sandwich (which cost 26 bucks) was akin to what a lot of very trendy, farm-to-table quality restos would charge for $16-18, but the Red House chicken portion was actually very small (for two of our orders).

So really it would have been a solid sandwich if it was about $12-15. My friend subbed in veggies for extra, and that was literally a few grilled pieces of carrot and asparagus, so a bummer overall.

Great restaurant when you want something special but not overly fancy. Kid friendly. Offers non-alcoholic mixed drink options. The bolognese is Amazing!!

Excellent food and service. This is our favorite restaurant in Renton. The dining inside on the first floor can feel a little crowded, but it's never prevented us from enjoying our meals.

Great food and drinks and a very chill atmosphere.

Food was delicious and they had a solid drink menu. The appetizer portions were easily entree size portions which is both nice but also misleading

Fabulous! We visited for the first time and we loved it! Very vintage and cozy feel. The food and drinks were outstanding! We sat on the patio on a beautiful afternoon and it was great. We will be regulars here for sure. Prices are decent, most cocktails $13 and entrees around $30. We each had a salad, beet and Mediterranean which were great and we split the waygu burger which was huge and the best burger we’ve ever eaten. We love it at the red house.

Good food and atmosphere but if I am honest the food is way overpriced. It’s higher end bar food but still probably $5-$10 too much per item. We blew over $100 at happy hour with one app and splitting a main.

Delicious, flavorful, satisfying dinner with family. Wagyu burger was hands down one of the finest burgers we had for awhile, one with cheese, one without. Was a bit hesitated ordering the crispy pork shark but turned out to be a great idea. It is crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside, oh and the mushroom orzo was full of rosemary and so delicious, it definitely completed the dish. Honey mustard parmesan chicken was on point. All dishes were very fulfilling and worth the price, definitely will recommend.

Had the burger. Either I was famished or it was the best “gourmet” burger I’ve had in a while. I usually prefer a simple smash burger but this was delicious. Fries on point. High quality cocktails.

Long time neighborhood fixture, food is always top notch but not cheap.

This place is a siren’s trap. The food is so good and the waitstaff is so nice and I’ve eaten so much already and they keep showing me stuff that looks amazing and it all is. Come ready to spend like $30-$50 a person and have leftovers, you will not be able to resist and it’s worth it.

This place is wonderful! We searched for innovative food open now and this place came up. Why not go tonight?

I was apprehensive, but this place exceeded expectations. Everybody enjoyed their meal, and service was fantastic. It basically is a house converted into a restaurant. Every room has a few tables, and the noise level was minimal. I recommend reservations as they can be very busy. My wife couldn't quit talking about the beet salad, and the steak sandwich had lots of meat and a great flavor. Recommended!

My wife and I had reservations for Valentine’s Day and cancelled within the policy terms. We both got the flu and unfortunately couldn’t do anything to celebrate. They still charged us $20 and when I called to talk to the manager, the front desk told me to email the manager/ owner. As of today, I have heard nothing back from the manager. We definitely want to eat here. But I’m not sure if they refuse to make this right.
