2 hours served 3 dishes. My buddy had a five-course dinner at a French restaurant and he came out first while I was still waiting for my fish with the stone-cold ice and empty stomach.

Food is actually good. But we waited for a whole hour to be seated and then waited for another 70 minutes and the signature eel was still not ready! This experience is totally insane. The food is not worth it given the time being wasted.

One of the last traditional Cantonese casual restaurants left around Seattle. Roast duck, sweet and sour pork, salt & pepper chicken wings. Can get busy on weekend evening. They do live seafood such as crabs, fish, lobster but they overcharge by doubling the weight claimed. Had a lobster and was charged for 5 pounds lobster ($175 !) while what I saw was about a 2 lbs lobster. I was charged 4 lbs for a dungenese crab which I have never seen a 4 lbs dungenese crab ever. The largest I have seen is slightly over 2 lbs and the one we had should be around 2 lbs. They are really dishonest in their seafood by the pound so beware.

We ordered 花生炆白鳝braised peanut w/ white eel, 明炉烧鸭bbq duck, 猪肚手撕鸡pork tripe w/ hand-shredded chicken, 小炒皇house special stir-fried and 双拼生蚝oyster w/ minced garlic/fermented soy beans. All are of greaaaat taste! My favorite are the white eel and pork tripe & chicken. The eel is fresh, sweet and crisp. The pork one is seasoned with some wasabi to reduce the greasy mouthfeel while keep the flavor of the meat. The service is warm and of enthusiasm. The price is friendly, as well.

Duck was amazing fresh and crispy. Overall food was great as we drove from capitol hill rather than going to nearby chinatown to eat here.

My parents came to town for Xmas, wanting to go to Vancouver BC for roasted pigeons. I took them to Renton Seafood Restaurant instead, They were surprised by how good it was. It had crispy skins, seasoning was right on, and the meat was moist. The taste was comparable to restaurants in Hong Kong. Other dishes were decent, with the exception of the roasted duck and the shrimp fried rice. Duck lacked flavor and the fried rice was too dry.
This place used to be so much better than it is now.
