I absolutely love this place. I come here for breakfast every time I get my car worked on up the street. Service is fast. Old school diner with a small town feel. Very nostalgic since a lot of it is original. Good food.

I was downtown before the Renton cleanup event and looking for a bit of breakfast this morning. Rubattino’s was one of the only places open early on a Sunday, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I loved the vibe. I just ordered a couple of pieces of French toast and I was very pleased. It tasted like home, and you can’t beat the price (even in these times $$$).
Unfortunately I packed light and only brought my phone to pay (no tap to pay on their credit device). Had to run back home and get some cash. Thank you so much to the lovely ladies who were understanding and didn’t give me grief about it; it was embarrassing.
I will definitely come back again (equipped with proper payment). Thanks!
