VERY disappointed thi time.Meat are so so dry, rice and bread are almost cold. Guess Microwaved food.
We usually avoid trying new places, but decided to give this one a shot based on a recommendation. I specifically asked if the Chicken Biryani was Dum Biryani, and was assured it was. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. What we received felt more like rice mixed with chicken curry than actual Dum Biryani. This left us regretting the choice and even more hesitant to try new spots. Really let down by the quality.
Never have been a big fan of Indian food until I tried this place. Chicken tikka Marsala was so good I had to come back for it again a second time. The mix tandoori was packed with flavor and the garlic naan was perfectly cooked. 10/10 definitely check this place out!!
Stop in for lunch. Then hit DK market.
Delicious food. I've been here at least 4 times, and it never disappoints. The portion is worth the price, and it's full of flavor. I love the butter chicken and tikka masala. I need to keep trying all the other dishes. Garlic naan is perfect.
Amazing food at a very reasonable price.
Lots of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu. Food was great. Best masala I've had. Tiny spot inside a market, friendly staff. Will absolutely go here again. Seeing people say parking was difficult, but I had no issues and it's a lot easier than somrwhere in a busy Metropolitan hub 🤷♀️. The outside of the building looks a little rough, but don't be discouraged - the food is 🔥🔥🔥 Updated from previous review on 2025-04-08
We love spice king, have been eating at this place for 10+yrs. Ambience is ok for the price you are paying.
I regret dining here. We ordered Paneer Chilli, but what we got looked more like Kadhai Paneer—and not even a good one. It had absolutely no flavor, not even salt. When we asked the server about it, he casually mentioned that they don’t add salt to anything (for Indian food, seriously?!). Even after specifically requesting salt, they still brought it out without any.
To make things worse, when we asked for a replacement, the server was hesitant and didn’t follow proper standards. Instead of making a fresh dish, he re-served the same half-eaten portion! Completely unacceptable. This place has no regard for quality or customer service. Avoid at all costs.
Delicious North Indian Punjabi food.
Restaurantji Recommends
I have tried all the nearby Indian food places, this one has the best food for the price.
I never get tired of eating samosas here. The staff is friendly and the food is great.
I love this place the service is great and people who work up front awesome I almost tried everything and it's good 👍 I recommend go try there specials lots of food for a special
I've only ever ordered for delivery so I can't speak to the atmosphere of the building itself, but frankly it could be a literal abandoned warehouse and I wouldn't care because the food is THAT GOOD. I am sort of shocked by the rating not being higher, because honest to god this is the best Indian food I've ever had and the portions are AMAZING.
The samosas are like the size of my actual whole palm. And so crispy and delicious. Anyways -- if you're thinking about ordering from here just do it. It's so good and you deserve good things.
Excellent food.
