I really enjoy going to this Starbucks. The staff is warm and friendly, there is a strip of power outlets around the edge of the building, the seats are comfortable enough, store is clean. It's not the most upscale or trendy place, which helps it feel more casual and inviting. The other customers are typically well mannered, not loud and annoying. Bathrooms are code locked and clean.

I wish I didn’t have to leave a bad review but I used to come to this location everyday, and one barista with reddish orange emo hair, gave me the WORST experience ever and now I will never come back to this location. First, she makes me a drink that I’ve never seen or heard of, it was completely clear in color. I told her that I didn’t order this drink and, I ordered a passion tea lemonade with 18 pumps of classic syrup. I get the same drink every time so I know what it’s supposed to look like. I told her it’s a magenta colored drink. Then she argues with me and tells me I’m wrong and that’s just what it looks like. So she offers to get the manager who also gave me attitude even though they were wrong and did remake the drink properly.

Then I come in again, and as soon as she sees my drink, and me she rolls her eyes and has a terrible attitude. Now as she makes the drink, I am counting the number of pumps she is putting in my drink because she’s messed up before. She puts 10 pumps when I ordered 18. You can taste the difference. So I taste it and it’s bitter and because she didn’t put 18 pumps in. So I ask her how many pumps she put in because I counted and it was 10, she tells me I’m wrong again, and she added 18, but that she will add 8 more pumps. I thanked her and waiting for my drink, she never adds any extra pumps, she added more lemonade, then she hands me the now two toned drink. So I tell her this isn’t what I ordered She becomes disrespectful and says “it’s just not mixed” i asked if someone else could me it, because at this point she’s messed up 3 times just in this visit. It was remade properly by another barista but it definitely ruined my experience that the other staff condoned the employees unkind behavior and then they laughed.

I went to the store today, and it seemed busy. The person in charge, whose name I don't know, mentioned to someone that she was Brazilian. She did a great job handling my order. Having worked in the restaurant business for many years, I can tell she is skilled at managing people and balancing her responsibilities. Because of her and her team, I’ll be coming back.

Invisible Cold Foam at Starbucks Renton Village - Disappointing Experience

If there were a competition for the thinnest cold foam in the Pacific Northwest, the Starbucks at Renton Village would undoubtedly take the prize. It was practically invisible on my drink.
To illustrate, the photo on the left shows the cold foam I received with my order on May 9th. You can barely see it's there. The photo on the right shows the cold foam from an order I placed at a different Starbucks location today (and I've already taken a few sips!).
When I inquired with the staff member at the Renton Village location about the lack of cold foam, the response I received was that it had sunk because I ordered my drink without ice. The female employee who answered me was very dismissive and didn't even look at me or check my drink. This explanation is fundamentally flawed, as cold foam is a light foam with a lower density than the milk and matcha, meaning it should naturally float and be VISIBLE even without ice.
For context, I order a matcha latte with no ice and cold foam roughly every other day, and I have never received a drink with such a minuscule amount of cold foam. This experience at the Renton Village location was quite disappointing.

This morning I stop by for my first time here. I feel so uncomfortable and not feel welcome in. Even I tips them with my cash . They don’t even know how to said thank you and smile. If you sick please staying home, don’t go to work with your bad attitude. Service always go first, but they don’t get it and understand. I never complain anything. But this morning piss me off. They need to learn how to service and respect people’s. Don’t apologize anything. I don't accept it. Don’t gave me any link to contact too. Who ever is a boss or manager here, needs to teach your employee AGAIN . Btw if you don’t know how to service costumers please go in the back clean up! So embarrassing that you served for the costumers. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

This was the best starbucks experience Ive ever had! Coffee tastes amazing! Employees were amazing! When I walked in someone was stocking the sugar/creamer area and greeted me. One girl that was making drinks took time to compliment my hair. And I didn’t want to bother them as they were busy making drinks, and I was just waiting for a mobile order to come out. And a third employee making drinks checked to see what I needed, and got my sandwich for me while also busy making the drinks. This was the smoothest and sweetest visit I have ever experienced with starbucks ❤️ Thank you guys! Management please give praise to the staff working 2/22/25 at 9:25am!

I love this place. The baristas are the sweetest and most efficient. I can expect a customized drink each time. They also are good at recommending drinks if you want a little razzle dazzle to your norm. Today I ordered for take out and received a cute uplifting message on my danish bag. I needed that. I wish they had more comfy seating, I’d definitely come and work a few hours here. Other than that, glad this is my Home SB!

I usually get this drink without any issues at other locations, but at this store, I got a cup full of ice with a little coffee for $10! I’m never coming back to this location.

I can't say much about Starbucks I've only been there a few times but every time I've been there has been a good experience. I gave four stars because I wanted my bacon well done on the sandwich. I simply wanted her to take the bacon off the sandwich and put it in the toaster one more time because it was limp. Since she refused I'm giving four stars. I did however go to the Fred Meyers location and they did cook the bacon twice for me. Hope that helps.

Where the pigs like to kick it and not do their job while kids are killed in the parking lot. Pretentious woke children. If it's stocked, decent breakfast sandwich. I'd rather go to the knock off cobrand at Safeway.

Idk, in over 10 years I just don't like this store.
