This place is very calm and it was worth being excited for Romanian Food. And the fries were the best food I’ve ever eaten (for fries) I highly recommend the Gyro Plate 8.93/10 Deliciousness and the staff was very friendly. Amazing.

The manager or PIC discriminated against a gender non-conforming Afro-Latinx by REFUSING A service to them unjustly. Their attitude was very hostile. It is ILLEGAL to deny service due to prejudice and this manager is fully aware of that. Upon calling them about the situation, they hung up in my face. This establishment deserves to be reported and shut down. There is no place for bigots

I was excited to try Romanian food and support this small business (which appeared to have 0 customers at the moment). Unfortunately, I was turned away at the door, presumably because I was visibly queer. I’ve dresses visibly queer in three states and three countries, and that has never happened to me before. I called back a minute later using a different voice, and they told me they were currently open for service. Shame, shame, shame.

Heard about a Romanian restaurant and celebrated my birthday there last night. Our table of four ordered the stuffed cabbage, polenta, chicken schnitzel, and a pork schnitzel sandwich. Everyone enjoyed the food, sharing tastes including two orders of placenta (cheese & spinach). The sarmale, mamaliga and placenta brought back wonderful childhood memories. The schnitzels were cooked to a perfect crispness. This was a memorable birthday celebration, we’ll be back.

Loved this place! Went there with my Romanian friend to check it out. I was extremely pleased with how everything tasted and so was he. We tried the bean soup, eggplants spread (salad), mitzch, cabbage rolls, chicken salad, and the pork loin sausage. Don't remember all the names of the delicious food but I will remember the flavors. So tasty! Surprisingly accessible to a Midwest palette like mine.
Amazing food! Great service! Cant get enough of their lamb shawarma! Total 13.24 out the door! I’d say it’s definitely worth trying!!!

As a native Romanian, the food was very authentic and delivious, especially the stuffed bell pepper. The owner snd his wife and very curteous and welcoming. The atmosphere is also quite authentic inside. Perfect option if you're looking for an authentic Romanian food experience

I've eaten gyros all over the world and enjoyed them all. Sunset Bistro's version is at the top of my list. Very legitimate, very authentic and very tasty. Just the right blend of ingredients with a generous amount of lamb to bring it all together in a wonderful sandwich. I've not been to Romania, so this one takes my straight back to Athens, Greece. Thank you!
