What can I say about Taco Time? Probably that its name is the best part about it.
The employees were great, my order was correct, the place looked clean and service was fast.
But the food... It taste like Mexican food made by someone who has only seen it own TV and tried to recreate it from scratch. The food at taco time makes Taco Bell look authentic.
Now I wont say the food was *bad* it was perfectly edible, somewhat seasoned, but it was just...wrong

It's just it always seems like the soft tacos are cold ! Like I would love a hot beef , it seems like the meat is always cold unless it's fried or something 😕

I ordered a number 11 large size beef with a Dr Pepper. The person who took my order in the drive-through said OK number 11 chicken I said no and repeated my order. Then she said OK number 11 beef and I said yes but I said large size. She said OK, so I get to the window and she hands me a medium drink. I correct her and say that’s supposed to be large size. She looks at the receipt and then looks back at me like I’m lying to her and trying to get more soda and tots for free. She’s the one who couldn’t get my order right. My drink taste like watery root beer and instead of Dr Pepper. This Taco Time is always a hot mess. Also, aren’t the people making the food supposed to have their hair tied up or covered if it’s long?

Tonight the drive thru messed up my order. I ordered the Fiesta Platter because it has a nice variety of items. When I got home there was no crisp beef burrito. They never placed it in the bag and I was not given the receipt either. They used to put both the taco and crisp burrito in the same container and now they pack them separately. Which is apparently where the screw up happened. I should have checked the bag before I left but I’ve never had this experience at the Renton location before. It’s pretty disappointing to not get my favorite item on the platter. I wasn’t even able to call the location as it’s just an automated answering hub now. I can’t even drive back to the location before they close either. Pretty disappointing situation this evening.

This location is so bomb. Very modern (new) feel, super clean, and very friendly, helpful, and courteous staff. Try the new spicy seasoned tater tots formerly known as Mexi fries. Delicious! And if you like hot/spicy food try the Habanero burrito, that's what I had in these pictures. 🌶️🥔😋👌

Went to order they gave me a fresh soft taco with stale cold mexi tots
This store needs to reevaluate their upper management the assistant Patty decided to argue with me over a mistake they made on my order while trying to get it fixed she started yelling at the other employees and proceeded to start talking bad about me in Spanish not knowing I could understand

I just wanted to share the staff that worked today around 2:30pm was phenomenal, my receipt says host was Michelle. I asked for an off item menu dish, Nachos but made with your new Spicy Tator Tots and as you can see in my picture the staff came through and made me a delicious Spicy Totchos.
I must say the food was great for fast food It was a lot of food and flavour. This was my first time trying the food. The staff was helpful and fast, very clean place.
