Disgusting food stay away from this place. Awful service too

I had the birria tacos (with cheese) with beans and rice. The tacos were very tasty, especially when dipped.

The decor was plastered with their food items. Interesting, but lowered the atmosphere for me.

Complaint Regarding Dishonest Practices and Poor Service 👎

To whom it may concern,

I recently visited your establishment as I live in the area and was waiting for my mother to finish her foot treatment at the store next door. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my concerns.

I ordered the nachos de quesabirria, which took longer than usual to arrive. To make matters worse, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes after being seated just to receive water. While delays can sometimes happen, what I found most troubling was the dishonesty surrounding my order.

The waitress explained the dish in detail, listing everything it included, only for the presentation to differ significantly from what was described. Items that were said to be part of the dish ended up being excluded and later charged as sides. This practice is deceptive and unfair to customers.

It is unacceptable to mislead patrons about what they are ordering, only to charge them extra for items they were led to believe were included. Such behavior is not only dishonest but also exploitative.👎

I strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant unless they are willing to explicitly clarify what their meal includes and confirm the price of every item beforehand. This kind of practice erodes trust and tarnishes the reputation of your business.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to ensure future customers are treated with honesty and respect.

Sincerely,

Luis Romero

The food is mediocre. I tried the campechana cocktail and it’s more liquid than seafood. The steak tacos were good, with the rice and beans. The pupusas were just not pupusas (but maybe that’s on me for getting Salvadoran food at a Mexican restaurant :-)).

Yesterday, Sunday, my brother bought me pupusas and it's the worst thing I've ever tried: the dough was raw and there was nothing to worry about. It shows that they have no respect for the customer, much less are they interested in me returning. In my case, I won't buy there or that I'm dying of hunger

5 Street Tacos Birria - $15.95
The birria street tacos were nothing short of phenomenal. Each taco was bursting with flavor, and the meat was incredibly tender and succulent. The richness of the birria was perfectly balanced with fresh cilantro and onions, making every bite a heavenly experience. These tacos truly captured the essence of traditional Mexican street food! I’ll definitely order this again.

Taquitos Shredded Beef- $10.95
Corn Tortilla
The taquitos were crispy and packed with delicious shredded beef. The corn tortillas added an authentic touch, enhancing the overall flavor. They were perfectly fried to a golden brown, offering a delightful crunch with each bite. A definite must-try for taquito lovers!

Regular Burrito - $12.95 with $2.00 up charge for flank steak that was unavailable.
The regular burrito, filled with shredded beef instead of flank steak, was hearty and satisfying. While not as standout as the other dishes, it was still a solid choice. The burrito was generously stuffed with fresh ingredients, making it a substantial meal that hits the spot. Won’t order this again.

Chicken Wings - $11.95
The chicken wings were a pleasant surprise. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, they were a great addition to the meal. Each wing was soaked with a spicy sauce, making them a delicious side or a stand-alone treat.

While the price was a bit on the higher side, the quality and authenticity of the food made it worth every penny. I will definitely be ordering again, as this restaurant delivers an exceptional taste of Mexico that is hard to find. If you are looking to indulge in genuine Mexican cuisine, this place is a top choice!

I really wanted to like this place, we came in at a long time ago suggestion of a friend and we were both disappointed with the quality of the food. The salsa that came with the chips wasn't good. It tasted of vinegar and I'm suspecting had a strong ketchup base. I ordered the 7 mares and my fiancé ordered chilé verdes. My fiancé said the rice was very good, the beans were mediocre and he said the sauce that was on pork was delicious but the pork was extremely tough and chewy. My soup was also lacking. The picture showed a soup bowl overflowing with king crab, mussels and clams, the shrimp depicted were head on. The bowl brought out to me had very little of everything. It had a tiny snow crab leg and tiny half of body, 3 mussels, 4 little clams and some fish and some octopus pieces. The soup was also a bit off tasting, it tasted like it had ketchup in it as well. I've had 7 mares at other Mexican spots and had taken over half of it home, I'm not a big girl and was able to eat everything inside the bowl. I will say the service was very good, the woman who served us was very friendly and checked up on us with a good attitude. Unfortunately we won't be returning to this spot.

The Birria is bad, the broth does not taste like pure water.
