i wish I could give a great review, since the lady up front was nice, my food came out super quick, the chicken katsu and rice I got were really good, and so was the teriyaki sauce. unfortunately, while I was eating the salad that came with my lunch, there was a dead bug in it and it killed my entire appetite 🤢 maybe just avoid the salad...

Great people that work here, they remember me and that makes me feel important. The food is great and they have good music going on a rotating schedule. Another trip today and of course the food was great. The owner greets everyone that walks in with a smile and asks how you are doing.

I recently ordered the teriyaki salmon for takeout, and I am extremely disappointed. For $28.72, I received only two small pieces of salmon. To add insult to injury, a mandatory 20% tip was automatically included, making this already expensive meal even more outrageously priced. The portion size was shockingly small, and the value for money was simply unacceptable. I cannot recommend this dish, or this restaurant, based on this experience.

Obviously changes management. I have been going for years and would order no rice and no salad and sub veggies. The gal said they don't do that now. I left without ordering. I went to another teriyaki place a couple blocks away and got better chicken and better service. This is the way not to treat loyal customers. Good luck. Ono Teriyaki has my business now.
