Awesome food and super friendly cafe. Everyone knows everybody’s name and Jen makes a killer coffee ad the baked goods are excellent.

I sooooo wish The Great Northwest Soup Company had a location on the Eastside. This is the best place for soup in the Seattle area. They always have a nice variety of about 6 soup choices... something for everyone. IN addition the sandwiches and salad bar are good too but I always go for the soups. They are so good that if I am anywhere near the Eastlake area I will stop by to get at least 2 large soups for later even if I'm not hungry at the time.

Not quite Great but certainly reliable, the Soup Co delivers. I've grabbed a Meal Pal with these guys a few times and the portion satisfies. My meal is always ready within two minutes of arrival, and the casual counter-serve atmosphere means I can eat there despite the implied takeout.

The best damn soup I've had in a very long time if you have to try the butternut squash soup it will change your life it was so amazing a must drop in to get some soup.

Super slow service, even when no one else is in line. They held a like a meeting instead of making my order. Not the best food, sometimes undercooked. High prices for no reason. The only nice thing is convenience and even then that's a small plus! Only go here when I really need to otherwise I rather pay for food to be delivered for roughly the same price as them.

I just paid $8.00 for a small southwest chicken salad and it was a huge waste of money. They used to make the salad so delicious and worth the money now they throw it together and don't put any care into making it good and worth the money. I had one tiny chunk of avocado and that is a huge part of the salad No olives which is also another ingredient that is supposed to be in there. Terrible!!! I do not recommend this place at all. I have seen so many people walk away from there disappointed by the service they received (rude people)and the food they received. It is terrible that it used to be a great place to buy my lunch a few times a week but not anymore.

Is there an option for ZERO star? Today (NOV 15, 2018) I bought some Organic Apple juice, and I saw some sediments at the bottom. I naturally shook it and I consumed some. Then I saw them sediments again at the bottom. Only then I checked the Best BY date and it was OCT 23, 2018. Which is almost a month ago. When I went back and showed them the bottle, they weren't even worried about it. The response I got was "Don't worry, you'll be alright, Take another one". And the worst part was every single bottle there has Best By date as OCT 23, 2018. The only mistake I did was I didn't click any picture and she took the bottles inside before I could think of taking pictures. She gave me a refund. I DO NOT care about the ducking money. What if something happens to me? I am writing this right after the incident. Will update if something happens. You are serving food and you don't give a damn about the customers. You guys should have been shutdown. Is there an option to sue them?

The quality of food is very good but, the prices are outrageous! For example, today I purchased a 20 oz Dr Pepper and it was $3.29. Needless to say, this will be my last soda. I was shocked and feel like I've been robbed.

Typical at work cantina. Overpriced, slow service, crappy food. They use the cheapest bread for their sandwiches. I tried to order online so I wouldn't have to wait so long...They lost my order. You still have to pay at the counter so you don't save anytime ordering online anyways.

I've been hearing good things about this place for so long that I finally decided to try it for lunch.I got the #2 combo half sandwich & a small soup ($9.99 before tax, $11 after tax). To make it as healthy as possible, I asked for the Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich (with chipotle ranch sauce on the side) and the chicken wild rice soup. The portion of both the sandwich and the soup was decent. However, I was very unsatisfied with my sandwich for the following reasons:1. I forgot to take a picture, but when I opened my sandwich, the provolone cheese was already in small pieces instead of a full slice;2. The bacon was way over roasted and too crumbly;3. I thought the avocado would be slices of fresh avocado, but instead it was an ignorable thin layer of avocado spread on the sour dough;4. The sour dough looked closer to white bread than a real sour dough...I would've certainly not paid $6.99 for this kind of half sandwich. The soup was alright. However, because of the sandwich, I felt that $11 was way overpriced.

Might be Northwest, might be Soup, but it sure isn't Great. Amidst a sea of Amazonians getting lunch, we all waited patiently for our food. I ordered one of the lunch combos (Whole Grilled Cheese + 8 oz. of Soup) I received half of the whole sandwich I ordered, and it was burnt. I ate one bite and decided against finishing. The soup was good! The place is very greasy and unclean. The floor behind the counter had trash on the ground, and was not well kept. Lots of gloved hands co-mingling between customers, money, food, and the back of the house. I won't be going back.

No frills and a little pricey for what you get but great soups and sandwiches and tons of variety.

I don't love cauliflower but their curry garlic cauliflower soup is so good on a cold day.

I really like this place but this is not the first time they messed up my order - and this time around they were just too many mistakes that I felt I need to write something to raise awareness for other customers to ALWAYS check your food before you leave. They always have delicious, delicious soups selection and their garlicky bread is so yummy! Probably one of the best place to quickly get your warm soup in this cool weather (I don't recommend staying here since the oil cooking from the griddle can get suffocating)! My favorite one would be their wild rice chicken soup.
