First breakfast place in a while where didn't want to eat the food because it was bad

Tommy’s Cafe never disappoints! The food is consistently excellent, and their home fries are hands-down the best you’ll find anywhere. The coffee is always fresh and flowing, making it the perfect spot to start your day. On top of that, the service is absolutely spectacular—friendly, attentive, and welcoming every time. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home with top-notch food and hospitality, Tommy’s Cafe is the place to be!

Uneatable if your going to have a breakfast place you should know how to cook an egg. This place is going to get someone sick.. decent service

Ordered the Margrett which is biscuits and gravy with home fries. The food came out fresh and fast and very big portions. The service was excellent and all the diners were laughing and enjoying their food. This has been a café I been coming to for over 15 years and will continue .

Great first impression, but I'll be trying other diners before returning.
I love the diner vibe and friendly atmosphere. The tables are clean, and the condiments are full. Looking over the menu, I decided on the Country Fried Steak, but there were no options for pancakes. Upon asking for three pancakes, the waiter said yeah no problem so I was optimistic. The food came out hot within a few minutes.
The country fried steak was good, crisp and soft, able to be cut with my fork, but a bit too much like ground beef rather than steak. I asked for eggs over-medium, but they came out over-easy. The pancakes and hash browns were delicious. I got a grapefruit juice to wash it down.
When the bill came, I was slammed with $32.10, not including tip. $18.35 for the main plate, $7.50 for pancakes, $3.25 for juice, and $3.00 for tax, oh, and $0 for holding the toast and switching to pancakes. That's a steep bill for yes, a big breakfast, but for real, it wasn't a $32 breakfast.
There may be cheaper menu items, but overall, I felt the food and experience were not the greatest. I will try other diners before returning.

Superficially the old Tommys, service is essentially non-existent for a diner joint
That's a statement in and of itself. Don't bother unless it's Sunday and don't bother on Sunday.

Food might have been good when it was warm.
