A nondescript pub on the outside with outstanding food and service on the inside. I went for the seafood special of black cod, which came plated as though i was at a restaraunt with white linens. And the taste... MMmmm! Hadn't eaten all day, so followed that with fish and chips. The thinly breaded very generous fish portions were cooked perfectly. After stirring the coleslaw to get the sauce up from the bottom, the flavors meet the high bar the rest of the dishes had set. Great IPAs on tap and a very good porter, too. But the night i was there the rotating sour tasted more like a cider. Bonus: A seat at the bar may treat you to a view of the kitchen in action!

The fish & chips here is awesome. Big pieces of tasty fish with coating is very light & thin with a bit of seasoning in it. They are willing to swap out the fries if you are looking for more-healthy. Also the on-tap unusual cider was wonderful.
We like the burgers and other things we have had on the menu. This is our go-to informal neighborhood pub for taking friends who visit us in Renton.

Came in in the middle of the day. Not too busy. Outside seating available. Good was excellent. I ordered a Cobb salad with a side of turkey pot pie soup, my partner ordered a chicken sandwich with tots, and our third person ordered the fish and chips. Every one liked their food as it was cooked to perfection. Great service as well.

Never disappoints! This is such a wonderful restaurant to have in DTR, that’s downtown Renton. Their bar (amazing wood and designs) was relocated from their previous location early 2000s and I believe it is from the 1910s! The atmosphere, the staff, the food and the fun is all to be had at the whistle stop!
