One of my favorite neighborhood spots! The staff (I think their names were Jessa and Jacob in particular) are always so kind and get it right every single time, the coffee is great (and fairly priced for the quality) on it's own but the business as a whole is wonderful. Will continue to drive by on my way to work đ
May 2025 Edit: Barracuda has been my go-to. Loved the owners, all the staff, and made great connections with customers that were regulars just like me. Ahava took over and has erased everything they possibly can that was Barracuda. Theyâve fired all of the staff because they âarenât a good fitâ. Itâs heartbreaking to see how dark and depressing such a great neighborhood shop has become. The last OG Richland Coffee Shop. It used to be such a warm, inviting and comfortable place. Now itâs just a cold, dark, unwelcoming, generic coffee shop with no personality. And judging by how empty the shop is when I drive by Iâm guessing Iâm not the only one that feels this way. RIP Barracuda Coffee.
Cam, stop blaming the economy or a âtough transitionâ for all of this. You erased everything that we loved about our coffee shop.
Original Review: Barracuda has been my go-to coffee shop for almost 20 years. The owners and staff are friendly and they love the community they serve. Itâs a couple blocks off the bypass but itâs easy in and out and back into the bypass if youâre in a hurry.
Great drinks, coffee and other kinds
Cute coffee shop and super friendly workers!
Also was pleasantly surprised when I saw they offered multiple GF pastries.
I love this place. Dogs friendly patio. I did go by at 6am on a Saturday when theyâre supposed to be open though and they were closed so Iâm not sure the hours are accurate
This is coffee shop is great place to sit get work done or meet up with a friend. I was so impressed as I set there and worked last Monday to hear the employees remember regular customers names, their favorite drink or treat. It felt like you were more than just a âcoffee orderâ. They really cared about their customers and their day! The atmosphere was also very nice & thereâs a cute little outside area. Whatever drink I order is always so good!!! One of my favorite locally owned coffee shops in the Tri! âď¸âĽď¸
What once was a fantastic coffee shop (Barracuda) has now changed and we no longer appreciate the establishment. Very disappointing that the new owners chose to change everything including the name. Weâve been there twice with the new ownership and itâs not even close to being the same. Atmosphere and quality has plummeted. Good luck, we wonât be back.
Been getting coffee in drive thru afternoons for the last few years and hadnât noticed much of a change since Ahava took over. Same menu, same couple of baristas and good coffee UNTIL this past weekendâŚ. New menu with NO SIZES or PRICES posted. My KC had a burnt carmel taste. A teenage girl was the only one there and looked confused when I asked her about it.
Monday morning went inside to meet someone, there was no line and no greeting. The barista in front was focused I assume on making drinks, the one in back was at the window discussing his âinkâ with a lot of âyoâsâ. Finally he noticed us but it still took a couple more minutes to even order since he wouldnât stop rambling. He was unprofessional and in fact a bit offending.
Decided to give it one more try so we went through the drive thru later that afternoon and were relieved to see Ethan and finally got a good drink.
We were told Ahava was going in a different direction and that they hired new staff and fired 2 longtime barracuda baristas, Kenny being one of them. He has been making our drinks most afternoons and knew just how we liked them. We appreciated his quick wit and thoughtfulness. Ethan is now the only familiar, welcoming and consistent barista they have but for how long?
It is consistency, loyalty, and connection that have kept us coming back all these years and Ahava doesn't serve that. Time to find another coffee shop
Great place, great people, new owners are awesome!
Absolutely phenomenal place. The new owners are doing a fantastic job!

Love this coffee shop and the owners are friendly and welcoming. I will visit again when I'm in town!!!
Really cool coffee shop. Great crepes and coffee
Wow! The cutest local coffee shop. Amazing crepes, like seriously! So so good. The pesto one is my fav! And the strawberry one. Love their coffee too. So fun how they have toys for the kids and coloring sheets! So family friendly. So thankful for this new company coming in and providing the best place in town to stop! Keep up the good work!
Drive through window sub par. Coffee tastes like dirt.
This used to be my favorite shop, I visited upwards of 5 days a week. I always get the same coffee. The price increased by .50, unless now they're charging extra for 2% milk, which is NOT a specialty milk. The atmosphere inside looks dark and sterile, like a doctor's office waiting room. It used to be so cozy and inviting, even from the street. I wanted to like it, but the changes made it difficult. The price increase was kind of the last straw. I know the price went up because, like I said, I've been going to this shop for years and ordering the exact same latte. The same drink is .60$ less at Lil Firehouse, and you're still supporting a local coffee shop. I think Ahava maybe didn't understand how much goodwill Barracuda built up in this neighborhood, and how much it appealed to regulars. What works in Pasco doesn't necessarily work in Richland. Richland is established, while many Pasco neighborhoods have only been around 10-15 years (or less). Something to consider.
Original review for Barracuda: Delicious coffee and food items. Fun and relaxed atmosphere.
