Late dinner. Place was vacant except for one couple. Hour & half B4 closing. I should have gone with my gut and not stayed. Ordered fish tacos, whole beans and rice. No seasonings were on fish, tortillas were soaked with oil...beans old grey dried out with mystery cheese on top (yuk), rice old flavorless and dried out. Took 3 bites. Never again. Surprised place still in business.

I stopped for a quick lunch and it was highly satisfied. I ordered the seafood enchilada from the lunch menu and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The lunch came with chips and salsa which is always a pleasant. And I ordered coffee which was really good and better than many breakfast places.

Very bad service and bad way not to mention the food

I ordered through Uber Eats and this is no reflection on the driver or UE. My food was cold and the portions were very small. I think I had 2 spoons of rice and one spoonful of beans in my 2 item Combo. Portions are getting smaller and food had no taste. Each time it’s worse and worse the last few times I’ve ordered. Disappointed because this is usually my go to when I order UE.

Over the span of nine years, I have practically raised my daughter at this restaurant. Long work hours, and daughter attending school nearby.... we would stop here at least twice a week for all of those years to eat our dinner together and not get into the Hanford traffic on the way home. The food is quality, the people have been exceptionally kind and it's quite comfortable to be greeted by a familiar face, time after time. Rainy days, sunny days, snowy days, good days and bad days, were all spent here with the people and food of Chapala Express on Lee. We moved away for a few years and couldn't resist visiting Chapala Express when we returned on a trip. How delightful to be greeted by many of the familiar faces working there. My heart is happy at Chapla Express, my tummy is happy at Chapala Express and my wallet is happy at Chapala Express. Many more blessings to the people here and this wonderful establishment! This is a long time favorite in Richland, really good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Great service, the food arrives hot and fast. I try to go here whenever I'm in the area. It has a great kids menu as well!
