Restaurant apparently is closed with no information posted. Friday, January 21, 2022, my son ordered food for our dinner from El Porton on Aaron Drive in Richland, WA. The order was placed on El Porton website, authorization on the card went through. He didn’t get a text to say it is ready but went to the restaurant. It was all dark, doors were locked. No notes on doors or windows. Here it is two days later. Yesterday and today, doors still locked, still no notes on doors or windows. Website and Facebook page both say it is open. No posts to indicate they are closed. Calling leads to full mailbox. Credit card charge is still pending. We have eaten here before and done carry out, and the food is good.

Very nice place with very friendly staff and good prices too! Food was done well and came to the table quickly. Very clean place and plenty of options. Parking was a little tight but worth the time and effort for sure! We'll eat here again most definitely.

The Pollo a la crema and the arroz con Pollo are amazing. Service was fast and friendly and the prices are amazing. 3 plates from the lunch menu and our total was less than $40. I cannot explain how fantastic the food it. The best Mexican food in Richland, hands down.

This place has excellent quality food. My husband had fajitas and asked if he could add some prawns and they very accommodating. He said it was excellent! I had a combo plate of a taco, chili relleno And an enchilada. It was fabulous! The chili relleno was from scratch and close to my homemade ones. Our waitress was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The Margaritas....very good diffently , not out of a bottle. We are passing through but when come this way again we will without a doubt stop again! Outstanding!!!!!

If you like an informal family atmosphere with mediocre food, this is the place. Flys are abundant, the staff was likely the owner and his wife. Their daughter was running back and forth barefoot thru the restaurant. Because of the flooring it sounded like she was tromping up down a staircase. The ice chest was across from us and the waitress repeatedly slammed the lid up and down and pans were crashing in the background.I was batting at the flys and some landed in our food despite our best effort to drive them away. My wife never complains but today she complained to the male staff person about flys in her food. He stated they had a device for flys and could do nothing otherwise. The food is average quality for a "Mexican" restaurant. The price is average. If you look forward to crashing, banging, children running all over, and flys. This is your destination.

The food and drinks here are 100% on point delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and Always respectful. We have been here during crazy busy nights, and Super chill afternoons, The service, is by far, the best we have ever encountered in any restaurant over the years, And it never falters. Our favorite place to eat in the Tri Cities.

Great lunch! I loved the spinach and cheese enchiladas. Unique and the tomatillo sauce was excellent. Great service too—very fast and friendly server. Would definitely recommend

Food tastes Authentic. Not from a box. Real atmosphere. Nothing fake here. The employees treat all like family no matter what you look like. This business is disabled friendly.I recommend the queso sauce with chips before your meal.

Pre-COVID this was my favorite Richland Mexican restaurant. But everything was off tonight. Mask mandate despite even His Sufficiency Herr Inslee himself saying that the vaccinated need not wear masks. No menus because, you know, eventually somebody is going to catch cold from a menu, and God forbid it be at El Porton! Honestly, the food’s still really good. But in a city saturated with Mexican restaurants, I don’t need to come here.
