Isla Bonita Mexican Restaurant

The food here wasn’t terrible! It was pretty decent. I wouldn’t say the best joint around, but decent. I was shocked by the prices. We checked ahead of time and went of the available pictures on the menus here… well they are a bit out of date. I would suggest updating the menu. My wife and I each got the Macho burrito referring to the menu picture shown. So we thought it was $16. Well they were $28 each. The staff was nice, and the food was again decent. (Not close to good enough for the price) but man the prices were a shock.

Went here for lunch (about 1 pm) there was 1 other table occupied and 2 more people came in. Asked for more salsa, asked again 10 mins later. The same thing happened for more water. Had to go find the waiter at the kitchen area to get to go box and bill. Food was average $20 per plate for lunch. The food was good but more average so the price and the food don't match! I personally won't go back as there are better Mexican restaurants with great service and amazing food!

I like this place.

A family member introduced me to this restaurant about 10 years ago and now it's the only Mexican restaurant I go to. Amazing staff and such delicious food. I'm never disappointed.

My 1st time here I have driven by for years and I'm so happy I finally stopped by today. My boyfriend and I loved it the food was great. The service was awesome. But let me tell you about the place you can tell the owners take pride in their business appearance and appeal.

Big portions, I was stuffed to the gills! Their food was delicious and they make their own michelada mix! I'll definitely be back!

Had lunch around 1 pm and hardly anyone there. Greeted and seated right away. Ordered margaritas on the rocks. They were ok. Chips and Salsa was
ok. One of us had daily special and it was typical enchilada and beef taco. One order of the molajecte, which we love a traditional recipe. This was not it but flavors were good. So OK experience, good service, typical Americanized Mexican food.

Very good and warm hosting and presence of mind shown by the server. Even though we were a group of 8 I still felt that the server was paying great attention to our individual needs. Good environment and food taste. Price was slightly above average, but that is okay with me if the hosting is done well, which was the case here.

Five star price for average food, service and atmosphere. I WAS STUNNED! I paid for 3 people tonight and it was only slightly less than I paid for 7 people at a similar Mexican restaurant a few nights earlier. I will not be back!

Great place. Bit americanized menu ... good for me, not a fan of tripe or lengua. Very good. Excellent fajitas.

We have dinner here often. The workers are all very friendly and kind and the food is wonderful.
