Great food! And the owner/main chef is awesome. The best tofu I've ever had, I've been trying to recreate the crisp at home.for months and still cant figure it out. He definitely takes pride in his food and it shows. I'll recomend everyone to try.

My husband has been begging me to come to j's for a long time. I am sooooo happy I finally had the time to come in!!! At the kennewick location is where the owner is and she is the best at helping you understand anything, help make suggestions, based on what you order she will give you the best deals or groupings, and made sure to ask us if we had any restrictions or allergies. The owner is hands down old school korean and has the best quality and love for what she is cooking for you and I could feel it. I got the really big place with teriyaki chicken with spice over noodles and fried chicken rice with this delicious pepper (salt and pepper) seasoning and a Philadelphia roll. The Philadelphia roll I can guarantee you that you have NOT had in the tri cities like j's. She uses huge freah smoked salmon instead of the raw and it has changed my idea of a simple roll FOREVER. The atmosphere may not be everyone cup of tea but in korea thst is a home. It was a little of everything that makes her happy!! Just take a look around at all the different things and appreciate what makes her feel happy in the hopes to make you happy.
Vegetarian options: You just have to tell her that you are vegetarian.

It's been awhile since I have been to this place because I couldn't afford to eat out. Since I have recently gotten a new job I have stopped by their on a few Fridays after work and they were closed. I looked in the window and wasn't sure if they are remodeling or if they are out of business. I sure hope they are still in business because they have some of the best General Tso's chicken I have ever had.
