After a long day, my family decided to stop by Mandarin House for dinner. The calm atmosphere was perfect for conversation, and the food and tea were delicious. The pricing is comparable to most Chinese restaurants and reasonable for the portion size. Our server was incredible, and the brief wait time added to our positive experience. The building definitely needs some updates, but that is a small concern. I definitely will return!

Been going here for 30 years. Always incredibly consistent. The Mongolian beef with hot and sour soup is the best!

Best Mongolian beef we have ever had anywhere across 8 states. Used to get them for lunch several times a week when I worked a few blocks away, I really miss them since I've moved out of state, thinking about making a trip just for the Mongolian beef!

Decent food. Chinese food in this town leaves much to be desired. I had the Kung pow chicken it was supposed to be spicy, but alas, it was not. I have never had Kung pow without a single ? chili pepper. I will give them another shot and try a different dish next time.

The food was great, Service too was also great, even though it was made for take out. The restaurant itself was packed which is always a good sign in my opinion! The look and feel of the building was very inviting nothing to extravagant. I recommend Mandarin House to anyone looking for good Chinese/Japanese food!

Great lunch specials. Great food. They do force white rice on you without the option to get fried rice unless you want to pay an extra 10$.... Pretty silly to me they should just upcharge for fried rice so people don't thow away so much white

On my way back to Seattle after work I stopped to eat at this Richland restaurant, outside and inside the place is dated but clean, the hostess was prompt to provide a seat and take my order. I had the twice cooked pork lunch special, it comes with soup and I choose egg drop soup with it. I finished the soup and of the pork plate I left the green peppers, I just can't eat green peppers. I was expecting the "pow" of the sauce on the twice cooked pork but it wasn't there. The price alone is a 5 stars, $14.66 including tax and a can of soda. That is a good lunch!!!! I'll be back

Good food, prices have definitely increased, but the atmosphere? Like a blast back in time. Eek! It didn't help that the cook used the bathroom 4 times during our visit, or that he and a coworker took their break at a round table among the dining patrons, separated only by the meager disguise or attempted partition of to go bags placed at the edge of the table. They weren't even contiguous and we saw them slouched as they played on cell phones. I get it, the place old and things are expensive, but cognizance of customer experience is important, too. Sorry. Have to be honest.
