Porter's Real Barbecue

have picked up catering from this location and it has been consistently very good. This chain is the best option for barbecue in the area and the quality speaks for itself.

The prices are a little on the higher side, but if you want to impress someone with local barbecue, this is the place to go.

The food was good and at a fair price. I think the beans are an outstanding side. They are sweet and peppery and a great compliment to the smoky meat. The brisket was pretty tasty and the pulled pork was good. The mustard BBQ and the spicy BBQ sauce were both really good. The standard BBQ was fine, but didn't stand out like the others. Overall a good place to eat, with fair prices, a helpful, friendly staff and a clean facility. I would return again if I was looking for BBQ in the area.

I stopped in here for a quick barbeque a few weeks ago and loved it. I've been back a few times now and have enjoyed everything I've tried. As someone from NC, I have high expectations for both barbeque and sweet tea and Porter's didn't disappoint in either area. I'll be back for more when I'm in Richland!

It be nice if they ever answered their phone. I have been told innumerous times call ahead...BUT...no one EVER answers the phone. One time I called from inside the restaurant when no customers were present...the girl standing behind the counter...she didn't even greet me. The phone rang and rang and rang and rang..... When I asked the girl behind the counter why she didn't answer the phone...she said she was busy...I obviously saw otherwise. She was also quite rude. So... although the BBQ is delicious...the staff and service aren't so savory.

Good Meats, a bit pricey for the amount you get.....they need ice cream like Dickeys though.
The employees are amazing!

Tried the brisket, and I've got to say, honestly it's Better than my brisket I do on my pit boss.

Good barbecue, perhaps a little bland and the brisket wasn't as fatty as I'd like, but it was really very good overall. I recently had some really excellent BBQ in Texas so my scale is a little skewed 🙂

Good bbq but man this place has seen better days. Was my first time trying porters and the inside was not clean or appealing.

I was surprised to see they used basic buns instead of a quality restaurant style brioche bun.

Rating 5 still since a bbq place can only be judge by its food and the meat is great on the sandwich I had, Mac n cheese was good. Not a fan of the bbq sauce,

Phenomenal

In terms of customer we felt we were rushed, at the time no one was even behind us. We got there a little After they opened some what expecting to get Fresh food. We both got the hogzilla, paid for 3 jalapeño poppers but got 2, and the Mac and cheese. The sandwhich had a piece of cartilage in almost every bite, not just small pieces. The jalapeño poppers were very soggy, and tasted old. The Mac and cheese had no flavor, and tasted like it had been warmed up multiple times. One of the worst “bbq” experiences I’ve ever had.

Incredible staff, so friendly! The food is ridiculously good. A unexpected surprise was the gouda machine n cheese! Give them a try, you won't regret.

The best brisket that I've had in the Tri Cities. Everything there is really good. It's very pricey, but it's very good.
