Visiting for my wife's birthday and she had the filet mignon and the scallops that were awesome. Unfortunately the other two ordered halibut and it was really bad. The halibut tasted like it was cooked with a lighter and over cooked the carrots were burnt and raw all at the same time. This is super unfortunate because we frequent this restaurant and always have a great meal. The manager was nice enough to comp one of the two halibut which didn't really make sense but will definitely give them another chance.

We enjoy a Steak and a side once and a while at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse-Ilani Casino. If you want a great steak cooked to your liking - this is the place .. .. .. Service is great too!

The steak was cooked properly and very good. Dining partner didn't care for the sauce with the halibut. Server was good but seemed a bit distracted.

We arrived 10 min early and was seated on time. Order was taken after looking at the Tuesday special menu for Tomahawk Tuesday and the oder was placed with out a problem.. Dinner was served almost immediately which in most cases would be fine.. we ordered the Tomahawk and mashed potatos were offered along with corn cut from the cob which sounded good..the rib steak was ordered as medium and for the most part was medium, however, most of the meat on one end was pure fat, so much that it was inedible... cooked fat is one thing but this was pretty much raw fat. The bottom of the steak was raw and the top was a mix of medium and raw, not 'rare' or even medium rare.. the corn was cooked with either chopped peppers or something that made it too hot to eat.. sorry that there was no warning that it was that hot, however the garlick bread was the bomb with the queso dipping sauce. Since it was my 83rd birthday and had a guest with us, not fuss was caused at the table.. the staff was great, food.. not so. much..

Ilani Casino.
Ordered two ribeye steaks, ($68 a piece)to share with a friend and one to take home. Both more than half was fat & gristle, including the one I took home. The $8 baked potato was so awful we had two bites of a firm, (tiny)tasteless potato. $200 for this meal. This was my second time and I thought I would give it another try after a non satisfying meal the first time. Never again.

The service is always fantastic! Food is delicious. Sides are all al a carte (shareable), you order items individually. We have dined many times and love it!

Yummm. Great service, delicious steak. I went with a group of 8 and we all enjoyed everything, including the service. Must-haves: Garlic bread with blue cheese fondue - yes please! Drinks were great. I got the Smoked Old Fashioned (I can't remember the name of it), and it was delicious. I also had a nice glass of syrah to go with the bone-in ribeye. Adding on the Bourbon Peppercorn Sauce was a win. The steak didn't need it, but it a great add. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. the apple-bacon chutney was such an interesting and amazing flavor. I literally inhaled those Brussel sprouts.

We will definitely be going back when we want a delicious steak. Next time, I'll take photos :)

Great food. Pricey, but really good food. Was kind of surprised they don't do anything for people celebrating birthdays there. No dessert or anything. Not sure i was sad by it or just surprised. My wife told them it was my birthday and nothing...oh well.

The casino is nice and the steakhouse looks classy and has decent deals for a dinner for two. You also get massive portions, but I was dissapointed in the quality of the food. It wasn't bad at all, just mediocre. My steak was very rare, blue rare, not how I ordered it and the rest of the food was fine, but bland not up to par with a steakhouse in this price range.
It felt more like a fast casual type of establishment, like a red lobster or a longhorn steakhouse dressed up to be fancy.
So yeah, it wasn't a bad experience, just dissapointing for the money.

Are you? I’m giving this restaurant a one star review really because they don’t know the meaning of customer service I understand they probably have a policy of no to go orders over the phone however, if you are a guest of the hotel, some people have children and it’s hard to come all the way down just to make the order And then have to wait around. Also, the lobster mac & cheese is disgusting

We invited some friends to join us and it was our first time visiting the restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. the food was amazing and the overall experience was phenomenal.

The good:

The service was very good. Our server was attentive, personable, and what you would expect from this level of dining. The cocktails were all delicious and well presented.

Opportunities for improvement:

The kitchen seemed to be a little out of sorts. Every food dish (simple app, steaks) took longer than expected to arrive and one of our steaks, ordered medium-rare, was served closer to blue. The served agreed that it was undercooked and very graciously had the kitchen bring it up to medium-rare. The other medium-rare steak that was ordered came out perfectly cooked.

I was surprised that there was almost no seer on the steaks. The flavor was good, but it was almost like it was baked.

Overall, I can't see myself coming back (unless it was just for cocktails). I would rather try a different steakhouse, for the money spent.
