I’ve been to Playmakers in Ridgefield three times. I really wanted to like it but the food is not good, every time we’ve been. I’ve tried different things and gone different times of the day. Hard to pinpoint if the execution is off or it’s the ingredients/menu. The last time we went, they were at about 20% capacity and we waited for 50 minutes for our food, two out of four entrees were cold, the food itself was not good, the coffee tasted old, and the changes requested...read full review

Playmakers Sports Bar and Grill is a typical, loud sports bar with pretty good food. The appetizers, including cheese curds, ranch fries, wings, pizza, and steak bites, are better than the entrees and are delicious and fire. The service is amazing, phenomenal, fast, and super responsive. The staff handles large groups very well. It is a nice place to go, especially on the heated patio during big game nights.
