We went to eat at Shawarma Refuge and had a wonderful experience! Amazing food and outstanding customer service! We ordered the #15 Lamb Arabi, baklava, and falafel, and everything was absolutely delicious. The owner was so kind and welcoming he treated us like family. We’ll definitely be back!

Shawarma Refuge offers an amazing food experience with outstanding customer service. The owner is kind and welcoming, treating guests like family. The food is simply outstanding, with everything absolutely delicious. Menu items include the #15 Lamb Arabi, chicken shawarma wrap, 3-meat platter, beef platter, lamb gyro bowl, beef arabi plate, chicken shawarma, and chicken arabi, all fantastic. The hummus and tzatziki sauce are also perfect, and the falafel is exactly crispy and moist on the inside. The lamb gyro is probably the best in Vancouver, cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth tender, and delicate. The meat is perfectly seasoned and cooked fresh. The food is dressed and presented beautifully in their containers as if sitting in a restaurant, and the small sliced pickled veggies served on the side with the hummus are loved. The portions are very fair and generous, and changes are able to be made to menu items so customizing your order to perfection is not shunned. The outdoor seating area is another plus. The food is very good, and the owner is very nice as well.
