Great stop in Royal City! Excellent tortillas on their fantastic carne asada tacos. The service was very friendly, and the fresh salsa and chips were perfectly addictive. Highly recommend this great spot.
Best surprise choice in a long time. We were driving on backroads and decided to see what was in Royal City. Quick off the highway, we found an amazingly clean, very cool small restaurant with a menu that didn't stop. Another patron was eating from a large bowl and the most appetizing compilation of fresh vegetables and shrimp. We were in town for one night and found La Perla by accident. Everything (tortillas, guacamole margarita) was house made and excellent. I had the bacon-wrapped shrimp. Amazing. When were are anywhere near Royal City in the future, we will detour to eat here.
