Chicken quesadilla is the only food I dig there and I've tried about everything. Maybe it's just not my jam.
Service is always great and the atmosphere is a solid bar experience. If Pine Lake's beer and service married Lake Samm Cafe's food and pie, you'd have a 10/10 haha.

This place is a staple in the area and has been for years. Very good pub style food with a varied menu. I have never had breakfast here, but apparently they used to have it and have brought it back. I'm sure it is definitely worth stopping in for that. They're beer selection is always on point in in constant rotation. If you haven't stopped in, I recommend that you do. Staff is super friendly and it's just an overall solid place to grab some food and a beer.

Last night we had the pleasure of having a March Madness date night. Of course, we went to the Ale House, as we always enjoy the hospitality of this great neighborhood hangout. Watching sports there is one of our favorite things to do. For years, during March Madness, we have watched staff bend over backwards to be equitable when it comes to a fair distribution of games on their various TVs. Last night was a perfect example of the tightrope walk staff must do during this time of year. We watched entitled diners berate the owner for not having their games of choice on 3 of the 5 TVs throughout a packed restaurant and bar. There was no respect for the fact that other diners were already watching games on those TVs. We applaud management for the calm manner in which they handled the situation, kept it from spilling over to the notice of other customers and kept the viewing experience fair for everyone. We would expect nothing less from management and staff and love that the Ale House is part of our community.

Loved atmosphere and location, easy parking, family friendly. Seemed like a popular place for dinner on a weeknight. I imagine meat eaters might have a better experience, but as vegetarian, not so great. We had veggie burger and veggie tacos. Food was very bland. Salad was ok, but taco beans tasted like they came straight from the can, lots of iceberg lettuce, just boring. Rice was dry and bland, even salsa was bland. Veggie burger same thing.

Great selection of beers and good food as well. We ordered the blackened shrimp salad and chicken wings. Perfect combo to go with some light beer. Awesome place so close to home !
Great family run establishment! You're always made to feel welcome. Once they get to know you, the staff always call you by your first name. Great atmosphere if you want to bring the family with the kids and sit in the main dining area for lunch/dinner or if you are with adult friends can sit at the bar and shoot the breeze. One of the best beer on tap selections with frequent rotation, always a delight!

...so I see all these great reviews, but I was in there a couple of weeks ago and had a couple of beers. Two different servers attended to me and they were rude and impatient with me. I don't know why or what I did wrong... I wondered if I looked like someone else that goes in there.
I had been curious about the place because my girlfriend lives around the corner so I went in there to work on my laptop for a bit and have a few beers, but the staff was so rude that I never want to go back.
The beer was good, but you find get good beer anywhere.

I ordered their cocktail and it was pretty decent. I would recommend the place for date nights because of the very romantic vibe of the place.
