It's pretty basic for a cost, and they don't know how to make drinks. Visited the one in the Sea-Tac airport.
Lots of better options if you’re looking for food.
Overall, it was good.
Personally, the basmati rice used for the Jollof didn’t make it feel authentic enough for me 😅.
The sweet Thai chilli sauce was really a good compliment to the chicken.
Basic deep-fried airport food.
They hide the prices so they can gouge you at the end
Food was mediocre at best and overpriced. Ketch up had a really weird taste. Coffee was good.
The jollof rice looked like jollof but did not taste like West African jollof rice. Actually, the rice tasted like it was cooked in curry for some reason. On the other hand, the Sambusa and the fried Plantains tasted good.
Africa Lounge has Decent food and is a convenient way to wait for your flight.
Joanna was very nice as we arrived and told us immediately it was last call for breakfast prior to switching to lunch so we were able to get our breakfast orders in. This was very nice as some of us wanted breakfast! The service was great, food was excellent and the navel may be one of the best I’ve ever had! She kept us taken care of and we enjoyed sitting here while waiting for our boarding time and eating. Left feeling satisfied and taken care of!
The spicy beef sambusas are wonderful. Sammy, the bar tender is fun, polite, and very efficient. Busy place, but he sets the paces and runs this bar smoothly.
Thank you Sammy.

The food was ok. Nothing special. I was charged extra for sauce that came with the meal anyways.

Let me start off by saying Runessa was great! Came for breakfast and the menu is pretty lackluster. No waffles, no pancakes, very simple. Everything around is self service and/or bland. So we figured we’d go to an actual restaurant and it was a miss. Anyway, giving it 3 stars for the outrageous prices, even for the airport. $30 a person for a coffee/hot cocoa and a bagel/omelette is too steep for as simple as it gets food.
Let me end on a positive note tho: Runessa was amazing!

Very good food with great service. Hanna was an awesome server. The drinks were also good and the atmosphere was perfect with the African theme.
