Cute, old-timey diner with excellent breakfasts and delicious lunches. The whole crew are just lovely. I watch people, and no one left without a smile on their face.

Pancake Chef is absolutely phenomenal. I got the Buen Sabor—eggs with chorizo and sour cream mixed with spices—and man, it was so bomb. My brother had the pork chops and said they were just as fire.

The service? Over the top tier. Our waiter went above and beyond. When I ordered coffee, it wasn’t just a cup—they left me the whole pitcher at the table. Little things like that make a big difference.

On top of that, the diner’s got an old-school vibe with WWI aviation photos all over the walls, which just adds to the experience. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. 100% recommend and I’ll definitely be back.

Ngl, Pancake chef rocked my world. Don’t let the parking deceive you. I’d give it a 6 if I could; it was damn good!

My favorite food item is the German pancake, a house specialty.

Food was very average, the service was pathetic. Waited for 35mins for someone to come and take our orders and then the food came cold. Not going back again!

This place is very much classic diner in food and atmosphere. The food was good butI wasn't wowed by it. Rhe service and other staff we interacted with were all wonderful. I also felt like the food was a bit pricier than a typical diner but I'm not from Seattle so that could just be the normal price there.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
I recently visited Pancake Chef in Seattle, very close to the airport, and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The place seems to rely heavily on its location, because the quality definitely doesn’t match the prices.

I ordered a vegetarian omelet for $19, which came with country potatoes and toast. The potatoes arrived cold, and the omelet was made with bland frozen vegetables — no flavor at all. I had to drench it in ketchup just to eat it. Worst veggie omelet I’ve ever had. It didn’t even come with cheese unless I paid extra ($0.70), and avocado was $2.49 a slice, which felt ridiculous.

The diner itself is very outdated. Chairs were ripped, and the women’s bathroom smelled bad and had spider webs, as shown in the pictures I took.

This place is overpriced, poorly maintained, and serves mediocre food at best. Definitely not worth the money — I wouldn’t recommend it.
