A bit on the pricey side ($35, 2 coffees and croissants) including tip. Excellent coffee, nice vibe in the cafe too.

Cold, expensive coffee, and pretentious staff.

I came in for a cup of coffee. They say they don’t serve drip coffee, fine, I’ll have a pour over. It’s 7$? Ok, I hope it’s really good.

When I got my coffee, I took a sip and it was lukewarm, not even close to hot. I asked the barista if he would mind heating it up for me, and he told me that that’s the temperature it’s served at so I can “taste all the notes.” I told him that I don’t want to taste all the notes, I want a hot coffee, and would he mind steaming it for me so it’s closer to the 203* that they are named for. He told me he could not do that, something any barista could do in 30 seconds on day one of training.

At that point, I clarified that I just paid 7$ for a coffee and could not have it heated up to a temperature that suited me, to which he agreed.

I left the coffee on the counter and walked out, wondering if I had ever had a worse interaction at a business in my life. Usually I leave reviews to celebrate businesses that I love, this is an exception.

Coffee is good but the fact that they carry alki bakery (junk food basically) is unfortunate

Nice employees and OK tasting latte. Giving 3 stars due to the horrendous acoustics when they are busy. The employees can't hear the orders and one can't just chill for a moment to enjoy their drink due to the bear-like noise level.

Good, but please stop carrying Alki bakery products. Stick to Macrina, Sea Wolf, or similar quality and notable Seattle places. The Alki banana/poppi bread tastes questionable and like straight chemicals. Do better

I’ve had their lattes may times. The Ube latte doesn’t disappoint. I liked their vanilla and pumpkin spice latte too. It’s by the lake. So it’s convenient to grab a drink and chill by the water.

Apparently on a Tuesday morning at 7:41 even though they say they are open they are not open. How disappointing
