Coffee connection runs like a coop. Laid back, good WiFi, parking nearby. For the West side this Bohemian atmosphere is great to get some work done, meet people casually. A simple, functional, hidden gem. Keep coming back here as during the day it's a great midpoint between the valley and OC.

12/12/ 2018 1:10pm. I Bought an Uncle Seth's pink cookie after asking about it. Girl said they get them in weekly, but this one had to be about 6 months old if not older. It was stale as I don't know what and had absorbed the flavors of a few different foods. This was the third time in about the three times I've visited this place in 6 years - each being a strike out- with stale or rotten food. The girl got upset because I didn't want a replacement. She left me standing there waiting for my money while she ran to the bathroom without even saying she was leaving. She just said, " Grab another one. I don't care." As she came around from the counter and passed me, I said "I don't want another one. I'd just like a refund". She ran off and when she finally came back, she slammed the money drawer, grabbed the cookie angrily & threw and then dropped my money on counter. Super RUDE!!!!!!

Baristas here are too busy to talk about their non-sense to see that there's a customer in line. I think I've seen way more polite baristas with stronger work ethic in hipster shops in Seattle

I figured this place needed a more current review to balance the negativity. I'm a true coffee snob - and I'm a regular here. Granted I don't get mixed latte type drinks - I stick to an americano but it's always very excellent. Strong, rich and just yummy. I think their breakfast items and baked goods are pretty tasty. Their lunch items are good, not excellent, but good. Sometimes there is too much ice in my drink and some items seem a day old (not often) which is why I gave it 4 vs 5. The baristas are all super nice - on occasion are a little frazzled but you would be too if you served the volume that they do.

Wow. I used to love coming to Belle Epicurean and having a delicious turkey sandwich with baguette. I just got a sandwich at the new 4th ave cafe and it is straight up revolting. Greasy and tastes like the stale bread has been heated in a microwave.
