Unfortunately a really bad experience on Valentine's Day. They didn't realize I had reserved the tasting menu and when they did bring the menu it was stained with oil. The never asked if we wanted the wine pairings or Xavier service. The drinks were incredibly watered down with actual machine ice still floating in the old fashioned with the large cube. The other cocktails had a lot of residual ice left in them as well. The food was mediocre with overcooked pasta floating in a pool of butter for one of the dishes. This may sound nit picky but for over 500 dollars for two people this was definitely a rip off. Please speak to the manager and fix some of these simple issues.
84 Yesler is a place where the care and detail of food, service and ambiance is intentionally thought out from start to finish. Christina is one of the top 5 chefs in Seattle hands down.
Our food was INCREDIBLE. We did the tasting menu and every single dish was different, balanced, and exciting. Pricy for us but the food, alongside the great service, was definitely worth it.
Once again, 84 Yesler wowed my guest! From greeting to dessert service impeccable and the dinner was Amazing
Quite possibly my new favorite restaurant! From beginning to end it was amazing! The food was incredible and I love that they have such a good happy hour menu! The service was exceptional. Would highly recommend!
We had an absolutely fabulous meal at 84 Yesler to celebrate our birthdays. The tasting menu and wine pairing were phenomenal. Every course was exceptional. Will be back soon!
We went here for a friend’s dinner and scheduled a reservation because we heard great things about this place. The positives are it’s a really cute restaurant, that’s nice and clean and there’s a simple elegance in the design. The service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided good insights into the dishes and how they’re prepared. We liked the different options, although the menu was very simple with three main courses or entrées. We ordered lots of foods and desserts and it was good with a nice presentation. They had a good wine and cocktail menu too. There were two downsides to our visit. 1. One member in our party has allergic reactions to shellfish and they had called ahead of time to make sure there was something that would be available and we’re told there would be. When we arrived, there was no accommodation for their order. This was frustrating as they had called earlier that day and were told they could accommodate their order. This was frustrating as they had called before and were told they could accommodate. 2. Two people in our party ordered the same pasta dish and both mention how they had stomach aches and pains in the middle of the night. I’m not sure if it was a off/bad night for the food, but three people walked away very disappointed. The others thought the food was good. Are the accommodations and food didn’t live up to expectations, everyone commented on how cute the restaurant is and how incredible the service was.

Had an absolutely lovely time with my parents and husband they cannot stop talking about how great the food was! We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and the whole meal was lovely. They were very accommodating of my mother's gluten allergy. ⭐️Stand out favs⭐️ My husband cannot stop talking about the amuse-bouche beignet with wagyu on top. I personally don't care for mushrooms but when they gave us the mushroom tempura with honey and goat cheese it was so balanced and airy I literally loved it and would eat it all the time if I could! Beef Wellington was of course fantastic and everyone loved it around the table. The desert was so soft sweet and citrusy with the right amount of cream to crunch and mix of textures! One dish I'd say was not one I'd care for agin was the 2nd fish one.
Overpriced with mediocre service. We enjoyed the dessert but nothing else stood out. It was my fiancés birthday which I detailed in our reservation but not one mention of it by anyone. I paid almost 500 dollars for the two of us. When we arrived there was only one other table. Shortly after they left, and we were the last table in the restaurant. Some of the staff started loudly joking around with each other near the bar and ruined the atmosphere.

The food got better as the meal progressed and the last few dishes were very good but the service really hurt the overall meal. We were welcomed briefly when we are arrived but then not again until they asked what we wanted to eat. When we selected the tasting menu and wine pairing we assume we would be told about the food and wine but it was dropped in front of us and were told they went well together. would recommend for the food but overall experience wasn't great especially considering we paid $250/person with the wine.
An amazing special Truffles & Caviar dinner at 84 Yesler. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairings, including a sake, went very well with each dish. The service was attentive and friendly. Only knock is that it was a bit load at first. Got better after a boisterous four-top near us left.
Food was pretty good. Neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. I would probably try out a different place next time.
This place is better than Canlis. Sorry, truth hurts sometimes. Do not miss an opportunity to dine here. You're welcome.
Our experience at 84 Yesler was amazing! Each dish was full of flavor and creatively presented. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to have a memorable evening.
