We went here for a friend’s dinner and scheduled a reservation because we heard great things about this place. The positives are it’s a really cute restaurant, that’s nice and clean and there’s a simple elegance in the design. The service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided good insights into the dishes and how they’re prepared. We liked the different options, although the menu was very simple with three main courses or entrées. We ordered lots of foods and desserts and it was good with a nice presentation. They had a good wine and cocktail menu too. There were two downsides to our visit. 1. One member in our party has allergic reactions to shellfish and they had called ahead of time to make sure there was something that would be available and we’re told there would be. When we arrived, there was no accommodation for their order. This was frustrating as they had called earlier that day and were told they could accommodate their order. This was frustrating as they had called before and were told they could accommodate. 2. Two people in our party ordered the same pasta dish and both mention how they had stomach aches and pains in the middle of the night. I’m not sure if it was a off/bad night for the food, but three people walked away very disappointed. The others thought the food was good. Are the accommodations and food didn’t live up to expectations, everyone commented on how cute the restaurant is and how incredible the service was.

Overpriced with mediocre service. We enjoyed the dessert but nothing else stood out. It was my fiancés birthday which I detailed in our reservation but not one mention of it by anyone. I paid almost 500 dollars for the two of us. When we arrived there was only one other table. Shortly after they left, and we were the last table in the restaurant. Some of the staff started loudly joking around with each other near the bar and ruined the atmosphere.

The food got better as the meal progressed and the last few dishes were very good but the service really hurt the overall meal. We were welcomed briefly when we are arrived but then not again until they asked what we wanted to eat. When we selected the tasting menu and wine pairing we assume we would be told about the food and wine but it was dropped in front of us and were told they went well together. would recommend for the food but overall experience wasn't great especially considering we paid $250/person with the wine.

An amazing special Truffles & Caviar dinner at 84 Yesler. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairings, including a sake, went very well with each dish. The service was attentive and friendly. Only knock is that it was a bit load at first. Got better after a boisterous four-top near us left.

Food was pretty good. Neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. I would probably try out a different place next time.

This place is better than Canlis. Sorry, truth hurts sometimes. Do not miss an opportunity to dine here. You're welcome.

We ordered several dishes, but one of the highlights was the chef's special Waygu cut... it was outstanding!

We came for lunch during restaurant week and the set menu was delicious, with two great options for each course. I might have to go back to have the ones I didn't select. Attentive service and nice quiet atmosphere (though for their sake I hope they get more business at other times, as it was pretty dead when we were there).

We visited here during the Restaurant Week and this place was the only one that satisfied us among the many restaurants we tried. Their “famous” pappardelle with berre blanc sauce was amazing and the cuission of the cod was superb as well. The steak was just okay but I guess they’d have better meat for dinner menu. Anyway we enjoyed the lunch and were glad we visited.

The food here is always excellent; I really feel this is one of the better high-end dining experiences in Seattle. Love the warm lighting and ambience. Don't skip dessert!

Very nice ambiance -- well designed and pleasant, with a large airy feel to what is actually a fairly small pace. Because small, noisy when full. Food prepared with thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The house-made pasta was unique, actually incorporating herb leaves into the pasta in an artful way. The few side vegetable with the black cod were treated in a way that made every bite memorable. Not everything worked: the macerated strawberries and brownie dessert was different and good, but the apple dessert was a little fussy and did not really enhance the apples at the source of it. Expensive, but mostly worth it.

Delighted to be back - the food is always fantastic, the ambiance warm, & elevated. Cocktails were delicious and the staff went over the top to make us feel welcome. We loved all the locally sourced ingredients too!!
