Dark dive bar with a few rally fun games. Come try the signature home of the 9lb hammer porter.

If you’re looking for a chill spot with good drinks and no frills, 9lb Hammer in Georgetown is the place to be. This is a classic dive bar where you can just relax, grab a beer, and not worry about the pretentious vibes you might find in other parts of the city.
The decor is quirky and a little gritty, but it totally fits the vibe. The drinks are solid, and they don’t skimp on the pour. You’ll find plenty of local beers on tap and cocktails that get the job done without breaking the bank. The food is straightforward, nothing fancy just the kind of stuff you want when you’re a few drinks deep. Plus, there’s usually a food truck outside if you want to switch it up.
They’ve got a pool table, pinball machines, and a bunch of seating, so it’s a great place to just hang out with friends or chat up some locals. The crowd’s pretty mixed, with everything from artists to folks just kicking back after work.
Overall, 9lb Hammer is a solid spot if you’re looking for that laid-back, unpretentious Seattle bar vibe. Great drinks, good people, and zero fuss.

I enjoyed the dark ambiance inside with plenty of room to spread out. Great veggie burgers! The best I've had. They have some non-alcohol beers too.

The bartenders here exhibit discriminatory behavior and appear unwilling to serve patrons of color. This is the second time I’ve visited, and once again, they failed to extend basic courtesy to those waiting for service. I certainly won’t be returning, and I suspect they’ll be pleased to hear it.
They are the same bar.
