First time I went in, it was great. The bartender there was really cool and nice but the second time there was a different bartender and she was mean. She seemed annoyed I was even there and told me they don't do cocktails despite me getting one from there just the other day, they were making cocktails left and right. I guess it depends who's working there if the place is any good.
Big servings, good prices, friendly staff! Love how dark it was inside, painted black and red. Bottles were displayed well and easy to see. So much stuff to look at on the walls and around the bar! Loved the Foo Fighters pinball machine! Some of the stuff hanging and on the walls even included some REALLY cool vintage advertising signs and swag.
If you’re looking for a chill spot with good drinks and no frills, 9lb Hammer in Georgetown is the place to be. This is a classic dive bar where you can just relax, grab a beer, and not worry about the pretentious vibes you might find in other parts of the city.
