It was a little hard to find, at first. It’s set back from the street next to a burger place that blocked my initial view, going west on NW 56th St. Went just for the Cheese cake (Crème Brûlée topping). It was worth the find. Very tasty. I like to savor every bite to get the full flavor.

Worth a trip.

If you need to take dessert to a function this is the place to pick up a pie that everyone will love!! You can call ahead to reserve and pick up at your leisure. My favorite is the Mexican Chocolate Pie!

The Crème Brûlée Cheesecake should be a permanent menu item!
So decedent and succulent
I also loved the Cherry Almond Cheesecake👌
The Seasonal items are the best.

Did a tasting to have the pies at my wedding. Chris is absolutely wonderful and the pies are amazing. Great pricing, the pies are made with skill and love. 12/10!

It seems shrinkflation has hit my favorite pie store. Bought a slice the other day and it's clear they have reduced the size of slices significantly (and packaging to match so you don't notice). Unfortunately not worth the high price anymore. 2 stars instead of 1 because I still like the pies, but I won't pay more for less and won't be back.

Something has changed. Used to make stellar pies, now they make soupy messes. I got a lemon meringue, both lemon and meringue were liquid. Thought it was a fluke, got another one 3 months later, same result. Inedible, liquid.

They used to be amazing. And today... producing soup in pie plates.

BEST PIE I’VE EVER HAD! we got the Hawaiian and it was perfectly sweet (aka not TOO sweet), the crust was perfectly crunchy, the coconut top was amazing, and the blueberry was insanely fresh!

MUST TRY!!

Great pie. Terrible customer service. Can tell this was an employee, not owner mindset worker. Employee was on the phone, uninterested, not listening to my order, did not say thank you, hello or anything that would make me want to go back and I live in the neighborhood. No other customers inside. We wanted to eat in, but decided to leave.

Best dessert I've had in Washington state, maybe ever. 10/10 tried 3 different desserts and all 3 were 10/10. Got damn this place is good. Don't second guess yourself just try it.

Excellent pies. I’ve ordered a few pies from A la Mode over the years and they never disappoint. They’re premium pies but worth the price. People are always impressed.
I haven’t spent a lot of time in the shop, but the staff always is helpful and friendly during pickups. I’m sure whatever they have available to dine in is great. I’d be happy to pick up a coffee or slice anytime.

I’ve had A la Mode Pies in West Seattle couple times, it was amazing .
I bought the whole French apple pie today for our dinner. All of us was agreed the pie crust was raw. 40 bucks for a pie we can’t even eat 🥲

Just ate here. First pie shop I've ever been to that doesn't serve pie warm, or even offer. Got the French Apple and Raspberry Crumble. Didn't even finish them. Wasn't good, just tasted like dough. Poor service. Definitely a waste of time and money.
