Very nicely presented and so tasty & healthy.
I love the interesting textures, colors, inclusion of greens & the legumes are fresh and flavorful.

Absolutely delicious!!! My friend and I have tried a few Ethiopian places, and this was some of the best we have ever had! We ordered the meat combo and veggie combo which was more than enough food for 3 people to share, and everything was so hot and flavorful. The restaurant was fairly empty when we went at 6:30PM, and our servers were wonderful and very nice. Definitely a hidden gem 👀

First time having Ethiopian food, and was delighted! Adey Abeba has a welcoming environment and delicious unique flavors. They’re extremely generous with the portions and you definitely won’t be left disappointed or hungry. They provide plenty of protein and plenty of bread to pair with it. Definitely consider giving this place a try!

The Food was lovely. The decor should be refreshed, but great service and great recipes :)

The food was really good — flavorful, generous portions, and great value for the price. The service was good, nothing exceptional but nothing to complain about either. Just a heads-up: if you get seated near the bathroom, you can hear everything since the walls are pretty thin 😅. But overall definitely worth going for the food alone.

I’ve tried the veggie combo at 3 different Ethiopian restaurants this past month and this place wins. (I’m trying to find non-meant sources of protein) Portions are still amazing here along with service and quality. I plan to be back tomorrow!

Hands down best Ethiopian good in cap hill. They cook it fresh and the lamb tibs are so tender and yummy. It’s a family owed restaurant that’s been around for many years. Feels good to support the community while getting authentic delicious food. I always get the veggie combo and dumb the lamb tibs on top. Trust me this will become your go to hole in the wall spot for Ethiopian food.

It was about 9:30pm and it was LOUD in the restaurant. There was 4 of us me, my husband and two teenagers. Water was warm, glasses were dirty. We ordered the meat+veggie combo but they server brought out a veggie combo and it was cold. We told her it was wrong and she argued back saying that is our order. She tried to take the food back and remake it but I was done after that. She was rude and not happy to be there. We eventually left and only paid for the drinks. I would not recommend coming here for late night dinners if you have teens.

I was in Seattle from July 2nd to 7th to meet friends since the 42nd Ethiopian Soccer game was in Seattle. On our way to the soccer field my friend and I went to Adey Abeba restaurant and had lunch. We ordered both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. Both of them were test full and cooked well. Most of all their service was super and friendly. If I go to Seattle again I will dine there and I recommend Adey Abeba for both residents and visitors. Thank you Adey Abeba for your wonderful food & friendly Service.

We stopped in at around 8pm on a recent Friday night and were seated immediately. Shockingly low prices, amazingly friendly staff, mom running the kitchen in the back, and delicious Ethiopian fare. Not only will we be back, but be back regularly. I'm so happy this place exists.
