Admiral Pub does such a fantastic job of bringing people together. The Taylor Swift listening party was lively, fun, and full of energy. What really sets this place apart, though, is the sense of community they’ve built. Everyone feels welcome, the staff genuinely cares, and it’s easy to see that they put thought into creating a space where people can connect and have a great time together. I seriously recommend it to anyone looking for a bar that’s about more than just drinks and I can’t wait to come back for more events soon <3

My boyfriend and I came over to watch the Chelsea v Brentford game. It was our first time here, and I’m already excited to come back to watch another game here. We had chicken nachos with a side of pineapple habanero sauce - super good! It was a fantastic portion, there were plenty of delicious toppings (the tomatoes and green peppers tasted so fresh), and the pineapple habanero sauce had the perfect heat. The staff was also celebrating (and crying) with us during the game - loved the sound effects haha.
Also for my fellow girls, the girls’ bathroom is so cute with a disco ball, glitter walls, and toiletries.

This isn’t a pub, it’s a family, and as soon as you walk through the doors you are part of it. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. Come on an event night, such as their Wednesday trivia, and you can’t help but have a good time. Don’t know anyone, no problem. Hang around long enough and people will invite you to join them. This is one of the warmest and friendliest bars in town.

The night I went, the theme was pirates — eye patches, treasure maps, the works — but the music was full-on glitter-ball disco fever. Nothing says “eclectic nightlife” like watching a guy in a captain’s hat doing the hustle.
The crowd? A glorious mix of locals who looked like they either just came from a vintage store or just time-traveled here from a cooler era. People were DANCING. Like, dancing without shame, ego, or regard for rhythm — it was beautiful.
The game room is a total blast — pinball machines that light up like Vegas, skee-ball, and basketball.
Now let’s talk bathrooms. Not usually a highlight, but these were so clean, I actually saw a woman eating a salad in there. Like… fork, bowl, full bite. That’s either a testament to their hygiene standards or the surreal nature of this bar. Either way, I respect it.
Bottom line: Admiral Pub is weird, wild, and absolutely worth your time. Bring a friend. Or three. And maybe an eye patch.
