Excellent food and service and such a pretty view while dining. I highly recommend Agua Verde.

Good food, quickly served, but the waiting line at noon can turn people away.

Great views of the water and surroundings. The self service via QR code is ok. Servers are around to help or take your order if needed. I’ve been here several times and the food is good. They do have some good vegetarian options like both cauliflower and sweet potato tacos. The prickly pear margarita is tasty! Give yourself extra time to find parking. I usually find street parking fairly quickly and close.

They apply the tip percentage to the total plus tax so your tip is inflated by 10%.

Rent a kayak from Agua Verde, kayak around Lake Union or Lake WA and go back to the restaurant for a delicious Mexican food with beautiful view of Portage

I love this place as the food is spectacular and they have a great assortment of home made sauces, they are also one of the few places that makes their own tortillas, my favorite is the Baja bowl or burrito the fish is always fresh and delicious and it’s close to work

Pozole:

A pot simmers slow, a tale unfolds,
Golden hominy, ancient and bold.
A dance of flavors, rich and deep,
Where whispers of ancestors gently seep.

Red like fire, with chile’s embrace,
Green like fields, fresh herbs in trace.
White like dawn, so pure, so bright,
A sacred feast in moon’s soft light.

Steam curls high, a fragrant song,
A table gathers, hearts grow strong.
With lime and crunch, with spice and cheer,
A taste of home, of love sincere.

The indoor area has heaters and it was a really nice spot to enjoy the view, grab a drink. We will definitely come back in the summer to rent the paddle board.

Great salsa! The chips could be better if they were homemade. Drinks are yummy but slightly watered down (and expensive). No waiter service; you order at the front. Vegan options, though, and that's a huge plus.

Great location, food was pricey and regrettable. The Pozole Verde was a particularly poor choice.

It looked good but had overwhelming salt and lemon flavors upfront followed by a confusing mix of mild spices and flavorless chicken.

Absolutely scrumptious. The braised beef is fantastic. Love this view of the water, too.
