This is a great spot — we come here often for both food and coffee and it’s always great with amazing staff! One suggestion: please consider better training for staff on making matcha. I’ve had it made perfectly once, which keeps me ordering it, but most times it’s been too thin and not mixed properly. Would love to see more consistency!
Best restaurant coffee in Seattle, and better coffee than many cafes! My wife had a latte that exceeded any restaurant coffee we've had anywhere, and my espresso was also the best I've had outside of a coffee roasters. We also had the rose pistachio cake which was the perfect balance of nutty, sweet, and moist, best cake we've had in Seattle. Had a cortado and a savory danish (ricotta and a savory jam with some kind of sliced vegetable that may have been squash or zucchini, I didn't listen super closely to the description). The cortado was one of the better cups I've had without going for a fancy single-origin, and the danish was both delicious and delightfully flaky.
