Finally made it to the famous Al's Tavern in Seattle. It's not just a place to stop in your post-college journey, but a truly weekend spiritual experience. I only rated the food as a 3/5 by accident, and I'll try the bratwurst when we visit tomorrow with the whole gang. Hope to see Percy again. Watching him serve sixty people all by himself is an experience.

Great dive bar that's been around a long time. Pool tables, interesting characters, and a friendly staff that stays around. They only have chips, but you can bring in food from the nearby restaurants (Ezell's fried chicken is across the street). Tip well and relax.
This place. I’ve been going there on and off for probably 20 years and it hasn’t changed a bit (that’s a good thing). Cash only, pleasantly dive bar vibe with friendly and welcoming bartenders and regulars. It’s the best of Old Seattle.
