This was my first time there but it seems like they may still have the cafe rearranged for covid because ordering was thru one door and then pick up through another. It seems like they must cater more to on the go coffee orders since the area for pick up has seating but it was very crowded with future and didn't feel like a space Id want to stay in for long.My macchiato was delicious and hit the spot. High rating for the drink, one star off for the strange inside arrangement.

Wow the coconut cold brew was life altering, I’m already trying to recreate it at home (but not nearly as good as the cafe version ?). I also had the biscuit and honey which was delicious. I’ll definitely be back whenever I come to Alki!

Still have a covid ordering setup really guys? You have a lovely space but make people walk to the back door and open it, there's not even anyone there to greet you. Does not encourage someone to order from you maybe that's why the business is completely dead, come on

Heavy sigh. I have been coming to Ampersand for years. Great service. Coffee/lattes ok. And their ORIGINAL cinnamon rolls were the best. They now have big sticky buns they refrigerate. And if you had the original you know how great they were: not sickly sweet, perfect size and delicious frosting. ?Not sure what happened (and pandemic is no longer an excuse) but this place has turned from a great place to stop, to a place you’re going to for the view. Too bad. ?

Perfect views and always good drinks and food. The golden milk is wonderful. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the pastries look amazing. Right across from Alki beach.

Great location! Really close to the beach and they have a nice variety of drink offerings. They have baked goods and sandwiches but we didn’t try those this visit. Good local option close to the beach.

Cute little coffee shop on Alki. It's winter now, and this is the perfect place to be cozy inside and look out at the sound while you enjoy a hot beverage. Visit after a brisk walk in the damp to make it extra cozy.Great pastries and excellent coffee. Order at the back door then come in to relax.

What a delightful little place! Perfect beach-town vive right here in West Seattle. The staff knew what they were doing and the drinks, sandwiches and mini donuts were all wonderful at a very reasonable price.

I was looking for a local coffee shop while visiting Alki Beach. When I arrived at this place the set up was strange. You walk to the back outdoors to order and then go inside to pick up. Location is nice across from the beach with outdoor seating. The inside was very rustic and not cozy. I could have looked past that if my coffee had been good but sadly no. Ordered a 12oz Pumpkin Spice latte with oat milk. It was not very hot and didn’t have much flavor. At almost $7 it was disappointing. They also had no gluten free offerings for baked goods. Next time I’ll just walk farther down to Starbucks.

Lukewarm americano and internet was down. They’re also still set up for pandemic service. I couldn’t get the attention of the employee at the counter to adjust the temp of my coffee. Not sure I’ll be back.

Waited 30 min for a moldy bagel. It was a busy morning, and I know they were backed up. But come on…

Unfortunately an extremely rude employee changed my experience. The wrong name was written on my order so I had to ask if my order was the one on the counter. The person asked my name and I told them. They didn’t even listen well enough to realize that the name I said was different than the name for my order which would naturally cause confusion. Instead they rolled their eyes, dismissed me, and walked away. It was SO rude. Listen. Listen to the customer because they are more than likely trying not to pick up an order that isn’t theirs —which could cause a different problem that impacts efficiency. The employee had an easy opportunity to communicate clarity without rudeness and it’s so unfortunate. Choosing local also connects to choosing service. The interaction doesn’t leave any fond memories of my experience.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in West Seattle but it’s so unfortunate that they close early every day!
