A pleasant, atmospheric place, though it can get quite busy and bustling from time to time. I once came here in a particularly interesting time in which there was a kind of Comic-Con occurring in the area, and as such, there were people dressed in these elaborate and quite extravagant costumes simply sitting in this understated cafe and sipping their coffee or tea. The experience was quite amusing, I must admit, simply because of the contrast. The teas are good, as is the atmosphere....
Before I begin, I’d like to say that I don’t usually drink coffee because of health reasons. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this cafe. As I first walked in I felt really warm because the staff were all very friendly and the warm lighting and black walls were modern yet homey. My first day after I moved to Seattle, and this place is close to my hotel and decided to give a try. The location is great, and other than the fact that it’s dark inside (not helping much for the Seattle weather) the place has usual coffee shop ambience with some instrumental music. Ton of seating space as well.
