Although I wasn’t staying at this hotel for my conference, I decided to try their restaurant and had the carne pizza. It was great. I agree with past reviewers it was salty, but that’s the process of having processed meat on a pizza. The flavour was good. March Madness on a Saturday night meant it was a busy spot, but the service was great, and the people added to the fun atmosphere.

$10 for a tiny chicken
I really wanted to give a better review, but unfortunately, I never received my food. I placed a to-go order and specifically asked for a dish without pork. I was told the carbonara was pork-free, but when I got back to my room, I found bacon bits in it. I called, and they apologized, offering to remake it and bring it to me. However, after nearly an hour, the food never arrived.
After a long day, I was looking forward to a good meal but was left disappointed. The tiramisu tasted sour, and the Caesar salad was plain. The only highlight was the bread, which was good.

This place has zero food safety!!!!Absolutely disgusting seeing Female chef yesterday coughing into our food , wiping her face then proceeds to touch the food without washing or wearing gloves 🤮

Vegetarian options: I have tried their Focaccia and Gnocchi. Salt was not present in either of the dishes. Focaccia is supposed to have salt on it and it can be eaten with olive oil not Tapatio. Gnocchi, could have been cooked in regular tomato sauce with parmigiano cheese only, instead of adding american cheese and layers of mushrooms and making a pink sauce that does not suit well with gnocchi itself.
Very disappointed.

the breakfast chef clearly doesn’t care about his job . Was served very burnt bacon and moldy raspberries in the dishes we ordered.

Terrible service, food was not great. waited 10 min to ask for salt. saw our server 2 times. but there is an added gratuity on the bill so why would he need to work hard for his tip?
There were quite a few hiccups in our experience here. Staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people, they were out of focaccia, and wait times for food and drink were pretty long.
The food was also hit and miss, I had chicken Parmesan which was great but the spaghetti that came with it was cool and gummy. My husband’s pasta was also a bit gummy and not served warm.
Our server was sweet and kept us in the loop and did a great job keeping us informed.
I wouldn’t rule this place out, I think we just came on a night they were understaffed.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ruined our anniversary dinner. Came here for dinner tonight, server was nice. Ordered an appy and it was good, mains came out and one of our pizzas had 2 hairs in it, kindly asked the server to have it remade. We witnessed the kitchen staff member who was told about the hair in our food, take off his hat, point to his bald head and say to just “pick it out”. Manager came over and apologized but we didn’t feel comfortable staying for much longer. Asked for a box shortly after the remade pizza was done, and left quickly. For a restaurant that has an automatic 18% gratuity on all bills, they should ensure the food/drinks they serve are worth the automatic gratuity. Kitchen staff should also be aware that their kitchen is wide open and guests can hear everything. Nothing on our bill was comped to try to rectify the situation. Wish we went somewhere else. Do not recommend!

Came here for an anniversary dinner, the server was completely fine and this review does not reflect upon her, but one of our meals came out with 2 hairs baked into it, so we kindly asked to have it remade and I watched the guy making pizzas exclaim that it wasn’t them and maybe we should just “pick it out”, it was very easy to hear as the kitchen is out in the open. The kitchen staff should be more mindful of what they are saying as guests can hear them easily. Overall food was ok but nothing special. Didn’t feel like we were taken seriously. Would not recommend

Stopped into the bar before heading out to an event in town. The bartenders seemed to be acting odd as the place was very busy yet they seemed to be unlike busy bartenders. In no rush whatsoever. Figured it out when the check came with automatic gratuity. Alexander is a case study in why that is a bad idea.

We shared the Andare salad and the linguini with beurre blanc - it was heavy and tasteless. I can do better without training any day of the week. The server did the right thing and did not charge us for the main dish. I unfortunately cannot recommend.

We went here for the breakfast buffet and if was pretty tasty. A little expensive but I guess that shouldn’t surprise me since it’s a hotel restaurant. I liked that you could order specific menus to be cooked especially for you. I got the smoked salmon Benedict and my husband got a meat omelette.
