The first thing that surprised us was that they brought us a menu without prices. Some of the food was tasty, but my meat on a stick was completely tasteless, and the water they brought us was undrinkable; it smelled awful.

Me and my wife are from Surrey British Columbia we were in town and we’re looking for some Cambodian food this place I’ve been to before so I’m thinking everything will be the same as I got in there. I realized the menu has changed. It’s not the same as it was before. One of the dishes that we ordered before they don’t have it on the menu anymore my wife ordered the Phnom Penh noodles they had Chinese doughnut beside the picture so I’m thinking it was gonna come with it, but you will have to pay extra for it I order number two it wasn’t that great I have high expectations because of the last time I was here it doesn’t taste the same as before I had to get up and ask for napkins or ask for more water After seeing how things have changed would I come back, I don’t think so it looks good, but looks can be deceiving after the exchange rate and everything our bill came up to 130 cad plus tip and that’s for two people

Great presentation of thai basil stir fry with minced pork. The side veggies (cucumber and lettuce) are always a plus for meat dish. The owner was happy to make a small change to my order by adding pork intestines as I requested

White rice was a little over cooked (too soft).

Clean and neat place with delicious food.

This restaurant feels like you step right into a restaurant in Phnom Penh. This is a wonderful family run restaurant that serves authentic Cambodian cuisine with Kampot Pepper in the table.

This is Cambodian comfort food that will delight those who have been to Cambodia and those looking for a taste of home this is a great place to visit and support.

If you’re looking for a Cambodian spot, this is a place worth to try. I got the Phnom Penh noodles which is full of flavor and depth. Very reminiscent of eating noodles in Cambodia. Goes great with the Chinese donut. They don’t hold back on the meat portions! Service was nice and quick. There’s plenty of street parking.

It’s expensive for a small portion almost $20 for the rice porridge and my total bill includes their ice coffee and the fries bread

We have been trying to go to this spot for 3 years lol. Been unlucky every time we try coming. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Beef Skewers, Kuyteav, and Lort Cha. The Papaya Salad from spicy levels 1-5 3 is crazzzy hot but the salads good. Kuyteav was super good, brother nice and not super savory. But to have an idea of whats in it would be helpful for future customers. Beef skewers were perfect as Cambodians know how to grill that beef. The best dish of the day that I had was the Lort Cha where the noodles are finely made into needles like shapes and from the squid to the nice sweet fish sauces tasting fried egg, you were on the road for success lol. To finish off the day we had some smoothies mango and avocado. Got some pictures, wish I took more. For the 4 dishes plus the smoothies were about $116. (DO NOTE, Khmer food is a delicacy type of food which some cases takes a while to prepare unlike other Asian foods.) So some of the pricing may look crazy expensive for some but in a way, understanding. Loved it.

Tips to improve would be to add utensils, napkins, small things as this is still up and coming.

Had a great meal at New Aspasa Palace! The stir-fried noodles with beef were delicious, tender meat, flavorful sauce, and fresh veggies. The Phnom Penh noodle soup was rich, comforting, and came with all the right toppings. The crispy donut on the side was a perfect touch( need to add on, it not included like pictures on menu). Friendly staff and clean, cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth checking out

Wanted to support local businesses and try Cambodian food. We got pin noodle soup, num banhchock Khmer, fried chicken, coconut coffee, and red Thai tea.

The pin noodle soup was pretty tasty. Served with mystery meat but pork blood doesn’t deter me so do be cautious if it does. The num banhchock Khmer is nothing like the photo on the menu where it seemed like it was a dipping noodle and you can add all the herbs and spices as you eat but rather just served in a bowl with the noodles and curry and banana blossoms and cucumber on the bottom
of the bowl but no herbs at all. It wasn’t very warm when they brought it out. The fried chicken was delicious. Drink were fine.
The main issue is THERE ARE NO MENU PRICES POSTED ANYWHERE. I was not expecting lunch to come out to $77 before tip. WOOF. Drink are $7 each, the fried chicken is $25, one soup was $25 and the other $18 I believe. Dang, okay my fault for not asking for the price of everything we ordered but it seems a bit off putting to do that for every item you’re interested in. I was assuming $18 at most for noodles and it just being more comparable to the food around white center. Again, my fault for just assuming.
They were nice. I asked for a menu with prices on it as I was leaving and they said they don’t have one and to call and ask. I’m not gonna do that. I hope this business gets dialed in because I want to try everything on their menu but I can’t justify dropping $77 on lunch very often.

My wife and I made our inaugural visit to this restaurant. We were impressed by the warm greetings and ambiance. The menu boasts an extensive selection of dishes. We opted to try the Cambodian coffee with coconut flavor, thus we cannot comment on the food quality or service duration.

However, the coffee and initial service we received today were exceptional. Based on the exemplary service and diverse menu offerings, I highly recommend this restaurant to those interested in trying Cambodian cuisine.

Cambodian food is renowned as one of the best in Southeast Asia, and it's a rare find in this area.

Not a fan of when businesses aren’t transparent. Their menu doesn’t have prices, except for a small paper menu which had prices and turned out they were not accurate. The menu also showed there were fried sticks that come with the noodles but turned out it’s not included and needs to be ordered separately.

Their most popular noodles was ok.

The papaya salad was too fishy, like it was old. We did not eat most of it.

Also found two ants on the table.

Gave an extra star because the servers were friendly. I would not come back again though.
