Love me some ramen on a cold night!! Arashi has two locations (Ballard and Tukwila), both with online ordering. I’ve tried all of their broths at this point and personally I think their black garlic ramen is my fave!
I ordered mine with chopped chashu on top 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 both are so soft and melt in your mouth!

Arashi Ramen is a cozy restaurant located in Ballard, known for its delicious and hearty ramen with great flavor and good portions. The service is solid, and the ambiance is that of a small, traditional ramen bar. The broth is rich and flavorful, with the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen being a standout dish. Many customers appreciate the quick service, noting that solo diners can enjoy a tasty bowl in about 20 minutes, and groups experience fast turns without long waits. While there have been some issues with order accuracy and flexibility with ingredients, particularly regarding meat options, the food remains highly regarded. The inside of the restaurant is small, with limited seating, including a bar area that adds to its unique charm. The karaage is decent, though it lacks sauce and consists of smaller pieces. Overall, Arashi Ramen is a great spot for a flavorful and unique ramen experience, especially for those who can enjoy pork dishes, with the black garlic also being a favorite among customers.
