Cold Sunday meant we were wanting something warm and comforting, so we settled on getting ramen for lunch. I had heard good things about Arashi and it wasn’t too far from us, so that was our pick. We got there during happy hour so we got the edamame and chicken karaage for a discounted price. We both got the spicy miso ramen, and it was super tasty! The broth was flavorful and the toppings made it a flavor bomb. We both said we’d like to come back or do to-go orders next time we are in the mood for ramen. Check this place out!

I appreciate that these guys have a system down pat: if you’re solo dining you can be in and out with a tasty bowl within like 20 minutes. And if you’re with friend(s), the super fast turns mean I’ve never had to wait.
And yeah: it’s good food! A rich, deep broth that’s in the “better than most” category of ramen shops at the same price point at this time in history, with competently done side dishes you’d find at other ramen shops (the kara age is neither worth writing home about nor complaining about).
Basically it’s a very good neighborhood ramen joint. A real asset to the area.
