Extremely delicious coffee drinks, some of the best I've ever had. The closest thing to coffee from Asia I have come across in the US. Highly recommended!!

I didn’t taste coffee from Nutty coffee. It is like a peanut powder drink. However, banana matcha is really good and the banana cream is rich and not too sweet. Good atmosphere!

Good coffee if you like sweet and funky flavours such as peanut butter, sesame or banana lattes. I prefer a plain old oat latter so the sesame latte was a bit rich for me but I could see why this place is so popular.

The black sesame foam for the Gloomy Matcha has me in a chokehold…. I tried recreating it at home, but it comes nowhere near as close to what you can get here. I came right at opening time before my flight took off because I just had to get another Gloomy Matcha 😂 it’s THAT good. Wish we had an Aroom on the east coast 😭
Right down the street is a bakery, which is so nice! Come to Aroom for your morning coffee/matcha, then head to Sea Wolf for some bread.
I got the egg coffee. It was super rich, creamy, and delicious. Definitely coming back for the other flavors !

I let them know it was my first time here, and despite how busy the line was behind me, the service didn’t slip. He explained their specialty is Vietnamese coffee with various cream/foam toppings. I came for the matcha, however, so he offered a sample of the black sesame cream in order to make my decision easier. I went for black sesame cream, aka the Gloomy Matcha latte with oat milk as a substitute, and it was VERY delicious. I was also concerned about the level of sweetness as I have recently had one too many weak pre-mixed matcha powders at local cafes that taste mostly like sugar and milk with a hint of matcha. But not Aroom! It is probably the best matcha I have found so far in Seattle. 😋 Will come back and try everything on the menu! I am also just genuinely happy coming in here, I feel the bustle of a successful business…like when you walk into a really good icecream shop…happy to wait in line to get the good stuff. 😅 Gave 4/5 for atmosphere because I personally enjoy a little more coziness in decor but curious to see how it shapes up come Winter! They could perhaps experiment with putting some pillars in the corners of the space to help the sound acoustics not feeling so harsh and echoing!
