Everything was just okay. The benedicts were okay, a litttle bland (corned beef AND crab), on bread that was too tough but flavors were decent. The breakfast sandwiches, same thing. Good fillers, bread too tough. Not enough on the crab cakes for a single person, turmeric coffee okay. It was a solid 3.5 in terms of food. Service was excellent, no complaints. If you live in West Seattle, it makes sense to go more than once and try more items on the menu. If you’re coming from anywhere outside of West Seattle or White Center it’s definitely not worth it.

Food wasn’t bad. Latte wasn’t bad, charged an extra 1.50 for vanilla sweetener in my latte. Never been to a place in Seattle that charged extra for coffee sweetener. My friend had order for more ketchup, for our other friends plate of eggs, and our waitress (older white lady with some gray hair) just pointed at my friends plate, implying he already had ketchup, even though the ketchup wasn’t for himself. Which is ridiculous, even if he had wanted another ketchup serving for himself , she still should’ve gave him the ketchup lmao. Tragic.

The staff and vibe is great. But food was lukewarm.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entryway, no steps to contend with.

All of our food was served cold.
My baguette was not heated at all.
Cold butter, cold bread, cold jam.
My espresso was poured into an ice cold cup. The server brought another; she didn't understand the concept that hot espresso needs to be poured in a warmed cup.
My friend ordered breakfast, it was cold and they charged her $2.00 extra to have jam for her toast.
Heat the plates. It is 30 degrees outside and it was cold inside.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread.

Really good breakfast spot! Food is delicious and the tea I got was very good. The loaded potato is very good! A little pricey but a good go to.

Food is very bland for the price. Service is hit or miss but during the lunch rush, can expect to wait an hour.

Avoid if you’re Gluten Free. They wanted to charge me 4.50 for ONE SLICE of Udi’s bread. The menu said .5 and I thought, ‘finally, a restaurant that doesn’t want to take advantage of a food intolerance’ when the bill arrived it was actually 4.50 and the waitress had the nerve to say, ‘well gf bread is really expensive’. I know. But it ain’t THAT expensive. They did refund the 4 dollar because of their menu typo, but a loaf of Udi’s can be 8 dollars at worst but usually around 7 dollars, so I don’t see why you need to charge for over half the loaf when it’s kept in the freezer anyway. I just couldn’t believe it. To make it worse, my meal came with sourdough anyway so there’s extra profit for them there.
Besides, choosing Udi’s was a lazy choice. Canyon Bakehouse is way better.
Won’t be returning.

Food was good but expensive. 5 pieces of cauliflower for $12?? Service slow snd seemed very distracted. Too many other options to go to this mediocre expensive place.

Great breakfast bread, but ours was warmed up in a microwave. Piping hot, but soft and spongey. Definitely not worth $9 for a micro mini loaf.

Sadly, Arthur’s has gone down hill. They are very understaffed. Expect long waits and subpar food. Last visit we left because we waited almost 15 mins for a table without being helped. It seemed one person was hosting, serving and running the bar….Time before that cold food and again long waits. I’d hate to see this place go since we don’t have many great breakfast/brunch options in WS, especially during the week, hopefully they can figure it out.

Came here on a weekday for a late breakfast. Although the atmosphere is pleasant and the menu looked very promising, our expectations fell short. We were rudely denied a window table and told that it was reserved for larger parties. I can understand this policy if the place was busy, but it was empty. Service was rude and cold. Food definitely not worth the prices. With so many other options in the area, would not recommend Arthur’s.
Came in here while it was dead on a Wednesday and had terrible service the entire time.
Ordered croissants that tasted like they were store bought and microwaved, followed by a normal breakfast sandwich. The prices are way too expensive for the quality of the food. California Ave has many better options. That being said it’s a nice space and atmosphere…
