Great menu variety: plenty of good looking choices, but not an overstretched set of options.

Over priced- ordered 2 breakfasts, a lemonade and a chai tea- $82.00. The staff were slow and not particularly attentive or friendly. The food was mid - over salted. My biggest complaint was that they have “gluten free” written all over their menu, but the only actual gluten free thing that they have (other than those naturally occurring) is crappy gluten free bread. I wanted something a little sweet, so I ordered their coconut French Toast with gluten free bread and was told that the bread is so small and thin that they couldn’t make it, she said it would “come out like a hockey puck”. If your celiac like I am, stay clear of this place! It’s expensive and misleading- they have jumped on the dietary buzz words but have no actual commitment to offering delicious special dietary foods.

A gem of West Seattle. Fair prices for the quality delivered. Arthur’s food is impressive. The BLT is actually worthwhile. The Red Eye is one of the better burgers I’ve had and certainly the best I have had in West Seattle. The bun is bread you want to eat. The ingredients and flavors themselves are delicious if not something you will break out your fork and knife for. The fries are perfect and decorated with flavor you appreciate. The meal ends up being satisfying and not feeling over-indulgent. The bar is also well stocked. Further, they have good community programme.

Food is ok. But their prices are astronomical. Ordered out by phone. Was placed on hold for several minutes before I could order, and when I showed up they were dead slow. $25 after tax for a sandwich. They charged an extra $1 for takeout, and when I spoke with the manager saying I was unhappy about the extra charge they blamed the cost of the boxes (these boxes cost less than 5 cents each if you buy them in bulk). Not to mention it already costs less to fulfill a takeout order because they are paying less in labor for their servers. Manager was somewhat rude and didn't even acknowledge my concern. Probably wont be back. Additionally they don't have ranch dressing. How can you sell salads and not have the most popular dressing available.

The smoked trout bowl was really good. Healthy, but seasoned well. It's nice because so many places equate health food with bland flavor. I'd definitely eat here again. The service was helpful and friendly.

Arthur’s is a nice cafe with Australian- and Mediterranean-inspired dishes on the menu. I went with a friend for brunch and loved the ricotta pancakes. They were fluffy and portions were generous. The drink I had was just okay, but I would like to try more of the menu and see if there’s something I like better.
The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is large and can accommodate a lot of people.

I don't know why, but this place makes me want to write a review in the essence of whoville....maybe its the hormones talking but here goes:
Oh, the Bebop Waffle’s shutters brought a pout to every Who,
So we tromped to this new nook and wowzers what a view!
We munched lemon ricotta hotcakes, fluffy like a cloud,
And a grilled cheese melt so gooey it made our tummies proud.
Two lavender lattes, purple swirls of cozy cheer.
Had us humming “fa-la-la-lavender” with every creamy sip.
The room was Whocute: twinkly bulbs, a butter dish so sweet,
Mossy candle holders making whimsy feel complete.
Plates arrived mountain big, enough for two (or three),
So we boxed some up for later leftovers for a Who-sized tea.
Servers smiled speedy-quick, zipping by with Who-ish grace;
We’ll hop our happy feet right back to this fantastical place!

No one was impressed. Classic brekky fine, lemon ricotta pancakes fine-needed maple syrup. Crab Benedict: toast over cooked, not nearly enough crab, I don't know what they did with the greens, either didn't cut out the fibrous stems or used frozen, Tarragon sauce was ok but not enough for the dryness of the whole dish; it just didn't come together well. Arthur's flatliner was good; it's an espresso martini. No, wouldn't come back; would try some other wannabe froofry place. Nice waitress.

Wow. The plants. Beautiful. Plus the kind service from JR and delicious food. My favorite was Laura’s special seasonal bread. Oh yeah and great drinks. Can’t wait to come back and try the brunch menu. I had a great cocktail as well. Spicy pear sour. Yum.
