I haven’t had a good gluten free bagel in YEARS. This place delivers that and other delicious sweet treats. A must stop if you have allergies. I would post a photo but I ate everything so fast. 🥰

Allergen free wonderful bakery! They’re also a part of Seattle Good Business Network! I sampled the peanut butter and the wedding cake and they made me a nice americano. The staff was kind and answered all my questions. I was able to work and take a meeting in the cafe. The cafe was a good temperature and good working space and all the other patrons were friendly. I’ll be back!

I visited this lovely bakery for the first time today and I almost cried. As someone with several food allergies and restrictions I always have a hard time eating out but when I was told it is completely allergen friendly I felt freeee! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. The wonderful lady at the front counter helped me put a sandwich together and it was delicious! My bf luckily doesn’t have restrictions but he still really enjoyed (devoured) the breakfast sandwich and white chocolate chip cookie. The banana bread is one of the best banana breads I’ve ever had and I’ve tasted plenty in my life to know a yummy one. They are very accommodating, will definitely be back! Thank you!💗

We ordered a birthday cake here, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. It cost twice as much as similar options from other specialized bakeries, and the worst part was that it didn’t even taste good. On the bright side, their monster cookie and some of their freshly made baked goods are fantastic. I’d recommend sticking to those instead! s great though!
I can't say enough great things about Askatu! This vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-free bakery is a Seattle gem. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and so helpful—making each visit a pleasure. The breads are absolutely incredible; they taste just like traditional bread—no one would ever guess they’re gluten-free! And the desserts? Simply amazing. From cakes to cookies, every treat is perfectly crafted and full of flavor. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, Askatu is a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious, wholesome baked goods and excellent coffee. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

The chocolate cookie - with an entire bar in it - was stunning. The tea cookies were to die for. The coffee was fresh.

I rarely leave reviews. But I had to for Askatu! They are AWESOME! I called to see if they had desserts that would work for my wife's birthday - we have a lot of allergies. They were great on the phone and it sounded promising. So, I went in. The team was GREAT! Enthusiastic, fun, energetic, knowledgeable, made wonderful recommendations, and readily shared their ingredient lists. I got a variety of items, and they were SO GOOD! Askatu puts the 'FRIENDLY" in allergy-friendly, and they are now our go-to bakery!
