We ordered a birthday cake here, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. It cost twice as much as similar options from other specialized bakeries, and the worst part was that it didn’t even taste good. On the bright side, their monster cookie and some of their freshly made baked goods are fantastic. I’d recommend sticking to those instead! s great though!
I can't say enough great things about Askatu! This vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-free bakery is a Seattle gem. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and so helpful—making each visit a pleasure. The breads are absolutely incredible; they taste just like traditional bread—no one would ever guess they’re gluten-free! And the desserts? Simply amazing. The gluten-free sandwich is really tasty, and the cookies are good, too.
Prices are high, and portions are small, but definitely worth it if you need gf.
